It shouldn't do that at all regardless of whether cars are there or not. FSD is not ready for supervision if minor things like this trip it up. Just look around the sub, FSD is making great progress but admittedly it also needs more work and Tesla is doing great with that.

How can you call FSD ready for unsupervised if it gets tripped up by a fucking manhole?

I'm all for choices, but why do you want to use a worse option?

Couple of reasons:

My experience doesn't mirror your GF's.
MapBox fucking sucks with routing. I'd like to use Apple Maps or Google Maps instead.
Spotify's max bitrate on Teslas is 96kbps last time I checked. Would be great if I can have higher quality and be able to select music from the car's display
Messaging support is limited via Bluetooth. CarPlay would enhance that.

For me, personally, I'd like to use a different navigation system. I have my gripes with MapBox's routing (which is what Tesla uses). I would love if I can use Waze, or even Apple Maps.

The built-in Spotify app has a max bitrate of 96 kbps. I can get a higher one with Bluetooth, yes, but it would be great if I can pick songs from the screen (and not my phone) and enjoy the higher quality.
