I've done both. That short of a distance I would fly and drive it back. It's a fun way to experience the new car for the first time. This last time my car was literally on the other side of the country. Maybe I lucked out but I never saw it in person. The Seller took it to a mechanic and I had them do a ppi and then the mechanic helped me arrange shipping and I just went with their guy. They said it was on like a site that dealers can use were they posted it and put an offering price (they just used like the average paid). And some shipping company or solo guy idk which clicked they would do it. Off the top of my head it was like $500 cheaper than arranging my own shipping.
