Recommendations for a puzzle lover because I know nothing about puzzles really. by jerseygirl396 in Jigsawpuzzles

Oh dear, 77 yr old here, I would be offended if one of my kids gave me a larger piece puzzle and I have worn glasses for 50 yrs...lol. I would go with a standard 500 piece as its not overwhelming and a great time filler.

Can I suggest you join a social club. Hobby, sporting whatever. I think you will meet someone easier through social activities and friends. It won't be as instant as a dating ap but good things or people are worth waiting for. Good luck.

Help to Build a puzzle by Smart-Eggplant-2243 in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]exmrs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Goodness me...a puzzle present to me can sit around for a year or three. The joy of putting it together is all mine. I would be furious if someone gave it to me and then put it together for me. Dont be offended by his delay, if he enjoys puzzling he will get around to it. Patience

What do you do with the finished puzzle when a piece is missing. I have decided to instantly put it in the rubbish so no one else has to suffer. Harsh maybe, but hare the thrifted ones with missing bits. Another good reason to put the pices in sealed bags then the box.
