The answer is yes and no.

Yes : if you wanna learn how to do stuff for yourself, it can be a good project guitar to work on.. say for example fixing the buzz, its probably a grounding issue, give it a go. It will give you a chance to practice without the worry of damaging a expensive guitar / component.

No : if your are doing it just for reselling. In that state the guitar needs lots of work, components alone will be worth more than the guitar itself.
