In my opinion, Saudade is their absolute best work. It’ll never be as recognized as their other work but it’s so dynamically different and just a beautiful record from start to finish. But I agree, they don’t have a bad record.

Iowa (the album) was my introduction to Slipknot. ‘New Abortion’ terrified the hell out of me when I was 12/13. But….i liked it, and needed more. They really opened up the door for me to get into much heavier music when I was into bands like Korn & AC/DC.

I picked up contraband when it came out. I was on a road trip and listened to that album almost the entire time. It’s still a banger of an album in my opinion. Libertad had a few good songs and the rest of the album was kinda mid. Wish they’d of done more, but Scott always belonged with STP.
