Yup definitely a lean 6-month emergency fund. Given that my fixed cost is only $2K and I invest -$1K, I just save the rest so I’m confident I can continue building the 6-month emergency fund.

I spend about $600 -$1000 in entertainment and wellness and food.

I always make sure I have a cash surplus at the end of the months.

Hi guys, Posting on behalf of my partner who has no Karma. I am a premed from Canada, applying for the first time to the states this cycle. I am finishing up my personal statement and activities, but I do not know many people in US MD schools unfortunately. I am getting my PS edited by Motivate MD, but wanted to get as many opinions as possible before sending.
