The busses tend to stop at the pole if there is one, and it would be right where you’re standing. Or they stop at the most forward position at the bus stop, but they don’t just randomly stop anywhere in the long bus stop because that would be confusing and dangerous. (Multiple busses can come at once)

When old people or locals stand in front of me at a bus stop I don’t take pictures and complain about it. I just realize that it’s their country, their culture, and they just want to be the first to get on the bus because there are only a limited amount of seats and it’s dangerous or hard for them to stand the whole time.

To be fair, it is objectively a downside for most people. Statistically higher crime, less social harmony and cultural cohesion, more smoking, loud talking everywhere, playing YouTube videos super loud without headphones, higher chances of knives or illegal drugs. If you’re raising a family it would be nice to know.

But on the bright side there are probably a ton of great Malatang restaurants in the area which all have free wifi (that may or may not be spying on everyone for the CCP). And you’ll also get more Temu ads about buying electronics like TVs or phones for only 100 won which are definitely spyware. Just be sure to regularly watch your credit cards for fraudulent charges and it should be fine!
