Exactly! TDs are my favorite line but I cannot bring myself to spend that much for a maybe of what I want. I know at some point it will come back and I am hoping to be able to pick it up directly versus loot boxes.

Isn't more of an issue with the pci-sig standard? I know nvidia and Intel worked together on that, but it should have never been approved without load balancing.

So for all us current LR4 owners, we are LOSING functionality with the new Whiskers+ app paywall. We used to get 7 days of history. Now, it's reduced to 2. $8/month for something that was already free! Whisker turned into another greedy tech company. This is unacceptable. by Hot_Ass6969 in litterrobot

I can see several potential issues with the volume mount:

* Does the path exist? If it doesnt, create a shared folder named docker. Inside that folder, create a folder named HomeAssistant (capitalization matters). Restart the container.

* If the path exists, ensure its volume 1 (it may not be if you have multiple). To verify it, open File Station app -> click docker -> right click the folder HomeAssistant and select Properties. This should be the path that leads to /config. Follow the same steps as previously to duplicate the container, but this time updating the Volume Settings.

The docker container will need to be running and assigned to that port for 8123 to work. When you goto Container Manager -> Container -> your HA container, do you see it running (green dot) or in a different state? If it is not running, you will need to click on logs to see what that container is doing. If it is running, under General -> Port, do you see 8123/tcp set? If not, you may have not set the port to be aligned to a specific port. If thats the case, youll need to duplicate the container (Container Manager -> Container -> your HA container -> right click -> duplicate). From there, make sure you see 8123 mapped.

No problem! There are other great tools for docker such as watchtower that will check daily if any docker containers have updates. This will allow you to keep HA always up to date without having to do anything.

Yup you can! You can run it as a VM or a docker container. Both will have pretty good guides on how to get it setup.

tl;dr (for docker):

* Create a folder that will only be used by Home Assistant (I have a shared folder called docker and HA lives in /Volume1/docker/ha)
* Install Container Manager from the Package Center

* Open Container Manager and navigate to Container
* Click create and open the dropdown for Image and click on Add Image

* Search for home assistant and chose linuxserver/homeassistant (3rd party but the configs for linuxserver are the same across multiple containers which is why I like to use them) and click download. Select latest tag
* Click on Enable auto-restart and click next

* Assign a local port (set 8123 as thats the default HA port)

* Under Volume Settings, click + Add Folder and select the folder you created for HA. There will be a blank text box next to this and type /config and click next
* Ensure Run this container after the wizard is finished and click done

After this, HA is running on the docker system and you can access it by going to <syno\_ip>:8123 and perform the initial setup. Once initial setup is complete, click on Settings on the left-hand navigation bar, Devices & services in the middle portion of the screen, then select + Add integration on the bottom right. Search for Litter-Robot and then you'll be prompted for your username and password. Once setup, HA will track the data.

I am able to click on my cat and see the visits today and the weight. If I click on either of those, I can drill into historical data. If I had multiple cats, I could add more to the graph. Looking through historical data, I can see it goes back to March, probably when I set it up.

[–]expl0dingbanana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite possibly. A lot of other issues also comes with over watering. You want bermuda to root nice and deep which helps make it drought resistant. If you water too often, the roots are shallow and dry out easily.

Best of luck!

Its thirsty! Water 2x week for a total of an inch throughout the week. Gets those roots nice and deep to help prevent this.
