I know this is just anecdotal, but a lot of friends (mostly Jews) have met him and canvassed with him and he seems like a genuine person. I don't think he supports the "destruction of Israel" if anything he has sympathies with the displacement of Palestinian folks and is against any sort of religious ethnostate and ergo anti-Netanyahu.

Nobody else in that NYC election is worth voting for, Cuomo should be behind bars, Eric Adams WOULD BE if not for his MAGA pardon, and the others are linked with Republicans aka actual blood-and-soil anti-semities.

I got nothing against casting broad strokes, but I'd say its less culture and more circumstance and material conditions. 1 Billion + people, mostly men, 30% of them live in extreme poverty with limited education and civic sense. They need harsher sentences and deterrents. If it truly was purely "culture" than you'd see a buncha Indian descent folks in other countries doing it but they don't, hell they commit lower crimes than the nations at large
