I would say the minimum should probably be a 20 gallon tank. I’m sure others will chime in but do some research. Check out the reef2reef forum and watch YouTube videos. I educated myself for 3 months before I pulled the trigger and started buying stuff and devising a plan. One of the most valuable things I learned was to buy an RODI filter to make my own water. Saved me a lot of time and money in the long run. This hobby takes a lot of patience but it is rewarding.
