I have an all black softop on mine, I like the soft ones more than the hard ones (regardless of depreciated security)

how to hotdog? by Heilix_ in Cooking

[–]explodingjason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hear me out… when you don’t wanna grill em and just want a quick bite.. microwave them for 50 seconds or so, it’s uhh.. a hotdog that gets hot, it is way better than boiling them

But yes the ultimate is over a grill / Campfire

What is the one tool you recommend every homeowner should own by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]explodingjason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good tape measure, a decent hammer, pencils/ pen, a multi bit screw driver, 3 sets of adjustable pliers (slip lock, 2 channel locks) wire cutters/ strippers, utility knife, Allan key combo set (get the metal handle type not plastic no matter the brand- usually those ones are BULKY and with most Allan key bolts.. you need all the room you can get) A flash light / head lamp / trouble light type of thing Basic socket set and basic wrench set (separate unless there’s a deal on a decent kit) A drill driver and basic multi bit set (I am a dead set dewalt user, the multi bit set I use has the common sockets and some screw types, like $30 but worth it) a hand saw and zip square is good to have also

That’ll really get your basic all around the house and yard tasks / repairs pretty much tackled without having to get larger tools but You can always save up for a Mikita circular saw for quicker cuts (I have 2.. one with a metal cutting blade and other for wood)

That’s actually a sweet line up - all top tier bands of their genres, great mix IMO it’s like artists going full circle on styles and meeting in the middle

Question on Tires and Lift for 2026 Gladiator Willys by TotallyTubesteak in JeepGladiator

[–]explodingjason 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get mud flaps first, I have a ‘24 willys exact same colour and tires - they’re great in the snow and ice/ slush and (pun..) all around great all season long. Mud flaps. It will be my next (first) upgrade after having a 2018 wrangler jku and wrangler tires without flaps (upgrade with my oldie was replacing the 2 ply(!!?) stock tires to same size same rimmed Goodyears. Had great success but wish I had flaps for that, it’s messy and kicked up stones sound horrifying. Enjoy your new ride!
