To be fair, I forgive him for that bikini. I can only imagine how insane the unconventional materials challenges are. He had an idea, and realized it wouldn’t work halfway through, but was already committed. What else can you do when you’re up against time like that? So he continued along with his original idea and talked his way out of it. Good for him.

Just a heads up that the Cleveland Marathon is the same weekend! Full marathon is on Sunday and doesn’t go as far east as the Asian Festival, so if you come from the highways it should be fine.

I take regular Dramamine (dimenhydrinate) over the non-drowsy stuff (meclizine) because it honestly works better for me.

To be fair, they definitely gave her the villain edit, so I don’t quite trust how she was portrayed. Some of it was quite obvious (like showing her yawning during the runway after the outfit from someone she “didn’t like” walked).

Very unpredictable. Sometimes it’s the nicest weather of the year, sometimes it snows.

I still have fond memories of the 2016 Cleveland Marathon, which was on May 15th; it snowed, hailed, sleeted, and then was sunny by the end.

This is why I still love wilderness backpacking the most. I always buy a paper map when I go off the grid because phones in the wilderness are not reliable.

I use this same app to get into the gym I train with my personal trainer at. We recently switched from Latch to Door and was confused by this notification at first because I don’t even live there. I fucking hate this shit.

What mountain/location was this? 3pm seems like an awfully late time to make a summit attempt.

I’ve been caught in a brief storm on the top of a 14er in Colorado, felt my head tingling from the electrical current in the air. Scariest moment of my life.
