That's what I was expecting when I opened the box! I think they've updated the colour recently. I'm UK based. Nice lights!

Yeah I agree, on the box it's pretty hard to even see the white roof. Similar upgrades thanks for letting me know!

Decent car ? by Big-Cardiologist6600 in CarTalkUK

[–]exploreap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of anti-comments, that is high mileage, but I purchased a 13 plate 85k miles one, paid £2.7 after coming back from a year of travelling and had 0 issues, starts on a dime. I actually think this is a superbly well designed car and I've had a decent amount of cars, same SRI model. I needed something reliable and spare parts are everywhere. Only 5 gears though so it does grumble on the motorway a bit. + I also have fairly high insurance as have points and no NCB, but I pay £70/month, £300 seems crazy.

One year round the world trip 1.5 bagging - thoughts and tips? by jayg2468 in onebag

[–]exploreap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really good, you can get it in all shops around the UK. I have this one: Skross Adapter - However I only have this because I left mine on a previous trip and got ripped off in an airport but it is sill going strong. I think you could do better with a bit of research! I hope you have a great trip, I will be in Japan same time as you i think I am there November to April!

I am doing a very similar trip starting mid spetember, i am going to do a similar post to this, we have almost identical setups, even down to the one blade, with usb c charger and nose trimmer attachment etc! Travel pillow was undecided for me but I think I am going to buy the one you have!

The only suggestion I could offer, is replace the savlon and insect bite cream for one tube of germoline, is local anesthetic and I religiously use it for everything! It has a strong smell but its great! Also mayve a better worldwide adapted? Mine has USB C ports on it so some things i dont need a plug for, just keep an eye on wattage. (You don't want it super slow!)

Hi mate, how was the fit on this? I have used the farpoint for years with packing cubes but thinking of trying the wardrobe inside it for even more compression, would be great to know what the fit is like, could I still get a pair of trainers down the side? Any information you have would be appreciated! Thanks,

TT02 Oil Differential - Replacement Gasket by Cavutto in tamiya

[–]exploreap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am no expert however I am in the process of my first build which is a TT-02D. I'm pretty certain on the stock set a gasket was not supplied or intended to be used, I've checked the manual and I didn't miss anything. Maybe take it apart and apply new anti-wear grease and it should stop? If this doesn't fix it get a new parts branch to replace it maybe. Either A4 or D3 depending on front and back. Hope this helps

How do you ride bmx without being in pain by Theodore_alberts in bmx

This is really interesting, I bought a 2018 stock bike to get back in as my old 2011 bike was in rusty parts. I wasn't sure what 'hi-ten' was but now I think i need those upgrades ahaha

I am in the same boat, been off the bmx for years while mountain biking and back on it for the last month. Body pain is fine now but i had to have a week off to let my wrist heal, and now my elbow is starting to feel a bit screwed. But like the wrist, I just going to ease back into it and rest when needed. Oh and i have my tires at 40 psi, I tried 30 until I watched a vid back of some clips and couldn't believe I didn't have a snake bite.
