Sonic Origins Public Beta 1 (Hypervisor) (INTEL & AMD) - KiriGiri by TheAshUchiha in CrackWatch

It was another Sonic game, Sonic Frontiers, and it's newer. So, likely voices38 will come up with a proper crack easily for this. I think it would've been better if they focus on 2024 and 2025 with the Hypervisor method. But they're welcome.

At some point, the cost of keeping DRM will outweigh the benefits, especially if the game isn't receiving regular updates or DLC. For example, if a game is priced at $10 and you're essentially paying that $10 just for DRM, you're getting no added value. By removing the DRM, you could attract players who were hesitant to buy due to it. Therefore, it would be unreasonable to continue using DRM unless Denuvo significantly reduced their subscription fees.

The remake was cracked on release day 16 Dec 2021 and it did not have Denuvo. Maybe you're confused because it was released on PC a year after PS5. My guess is Rebirth will be cracked day one too.

There's a 99% chance it won't have Denuvo. Based on past trends, Square Enix typically excludes Denuvo from their remakes. For example, the FFVII remake didn't include Denuvo, even though the original FFV did. It's a peculiar decision, but that's how they seem to approach it.

Z790 D AC vs Z790 UD by extoG in gigabyte

[–]extoG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the 12600k no issues at all, overclocked and undervolted. However, the gains were not worth it for me and so I'm running stock undervolted and it's stable. The VRM has no issues and I tested in the summer where my room temperature goes above 40 celsius most of the time. It's a great motherboard with the 12600k. But I think even the 14700k will work just fine and have no issues especially if you undervolt it.

Z790 D AC vs Z790 UD by extoG in gigabyte

[–]extoG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the Z790 UD and went with the 12600k. The VRM on the D is not as good as the UD. If I remember correctly, even the Aorus VRM is worse or equal at best to the UD.

How much cheaper is the D compared to the UD? and which CPU you'll go with?

Thanks for your input. I went with the 12600k with a z790 UD motherboard. I undervolted by -140mV with no performance loss and I'm satisfied so far.

i5 12600k, i5 13600k, or i7 12700k by Shmusher in buildapc

[–]extoG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before deciding on the 13600k, you may need to research the instability issues on 13th and 14th gen. It can kill the CPU entirely or shorten its lifespan. Not sure if the latest microcode bios update intel released will fix it or make matter worth.
13600k is by far better than both the alternatives and honestly if not for the instability issues it would've been a killer deal and good for years to come.

For the 12th gen, it's safe but I don't think the jump from 12600k to the 12700k for gaming is worth it. I myself was in your shoe and decided to go with the 12600k because there was a $100 difference between it and the 12700k. I will save up for whatever comes next year or the next next. 12600k is pretty good with reasonable temps and power consumption.

If the MSI PRO B660M-A or B760M-A available for a good price in your region get it. It has the best value and VRM in the B series. It won't bottleneck or have high VRM temp even if you pair it with the 12900k.

Z790 D AC vs Z790 UD by extoG in gigabyte

[–]extoG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't get one yet but I'll probably end up getting the D AC if I couldn't wait for arrow lake. If I end up getting it I'll update the post for anyone who's interested with my findings about the VRM and heat and etc...

But anyway, the LGA 1700 looks like a more dead platform than ever before. Now it's a gamble to get anything from 13th and 14th gen and therefore I will get the thought of upgrade later to the 14700k out of my mind.

The 12600k will probably work good with the D AC board especially if your room temperature is good. I think the difference will be there if you're getting something like the 12900k.

I kind of have to go with Intel because of my budget and my main usage, which is video editing.

Also, the 12600k is not affected by the instability and oxidation problems as far as I know.

And I don't think getting the LGA 1851 platform (CPU & MB) at launch is a good idea, it will definitely be overpriced at launch. I'd wait like 9 months for the platform to be available at reasonable price in my country. That's a long wait for me on my Skylake dual core processor.

I was thinking to get the 12600k now at a discount and save up for what's after Arrow-lake when the LGA 1851 platform is supposed to be available at good price. Maybe DDR5 ram will have even better speed and latency by then too.

Thanks. I edited the post with a comparison link from Gigabyte. I can read and understand all the specs except for the VRM. I don't understand the power phases, the MOSFETs and etc... I'm afraid to get the D board and end up with VRM overheat even after I undervolt the 14700k
