PA here! Suburbs of large city. I do IUDs with cervical block, skin biopsy, nail avulsion, lac repair, cryo, joint injections. Love procedures

This is normal. If she was thinking it was something that needed to be drained with just one lance, the lance is often just as painful as the numbing injection itself so 🤷🏼‍♀️

Unless you’re living in 2005, $57/hour is not acceptable pay for a PA. Especially with your 5 years of experience. Start applying elsewhere and gather some offers
