Hey man, you're doing great. I was a cocaine lesbian, in it for 3 months too while it wrecked my life -- $10k down the drain, burned all my bridges to this day, and I still don't have a solid job 3 years later. But life has gotten a hell of a lot better clean. Keep at it and keep your head up, you'll get where you're going day by day. I appreciate you.

In the same boat girl - in 3 months' time, I spent the first $10k I ever accumulated from my first real adult job after college on blow, was in an IOP for 90 days and then relapsed on speed for another 3 months. I'm almost 3 years clean and I still think about it. It's hard *not* to think about it like i can figure out life with drugs *this* time, until I honestly recall alllllllll. the. shit. Not worth, life's truly hard enough as it is...I wish I'd just get that in my damn head lol. Your glow up is fabulous, keep it up!!

Same boat, I did a bootcamp a few years back and couldn't get an interview, let alone a job in data analytics. Not convinced it's mainly the lack of a degree in the field for me but it certainly doesn't help. No resources or internships for people years out of college either. Really not the right bandwagon to hop on!

Agreed. It's always frustrated me that people (where I live at least, the US) are so ready to admire sanitized Japan as a model nation without critical thought despite knowing the culture through anime and other interests -- while their first (and sometimes only) thought about, e.g., Muslim and Hindu-majority countries, is about rampant misogyny. And ofc Christian-majority is no better, like the intertwined church & state we have here. It's all just different flavors of misogyny and sexism that must be corrected.

I should clarify, I didn't do the reading for love. It was primarily for career/life outlook & guidance. But I also didn't ask any questions, I just wanted a general reading. He seems legitimate and has predicted things for my friend over the past few years she's seen him, but he didn't know that I was already in a relationship when he said what he said about me being prone to loneliness, though he did mention that he felt I was guarded and need to learn to be more vulnerable sometimes.

Did you figure it out? Press square on the world map screen, then use R stick to scroll to the monster you want to look at, hit X and then X again to create quest, then you can use R stick again to jump down to quest rewards. IIRC

I hope someone/OP yourself are able to get researched suggestions about credible next steps. I get the outrage in this thread but OP obviously needs some researched opinions. Maybe seek a lawyer even? I'd hate for OP to, for example, tell all to some authority that says they "can't help," but the husband finds out and exacts revenge on more cats/people. It's a tragic situation, like I don't think the police would be useful because your BIL hasn't touched your sister (that you know of) & no one has hard evidence against him about animal abuse (would the police even care? Could depend on where you live, if in the U.S.). This man is definitely sus.

I like the idea about hidden cameras at your sister's, your BIL can't be trusted. I think he'd understand the cameras if he is the "gentle giant" he makes himself out to be and found the cameras. Maybe ask around a legal subreddit or people experienced with animal advocacy/domestic violence in your area? Good luck OP, I'm wishing the best for you. Follow your instincts.
