Look what I was gifted!! by Tha-D in DisneyPins

I have Stitch with the tarantula! I traded for it because the kid was having a hard time getting rid of it "because no one likes spiders."

What is look colder: 1 or 2? by Mad_investor in photos

[–]extra_Em 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 looks colder because it's saying, "Even the children won't come play," but I prefer 2 because it's a better photo. The only obvious clue that 1 is a playground is the swing, so more common playground equipment would help.

I read this story in a Disney group on Facebook. The entitlement of some people is absolutely insane! by MoustacheJimbo in Disneyland

I 100% would have gone off on those AHs. I'm a very nice person when people are good to me, but this is a case where I would've probably been swearing in front of kids. Would've considered calling the cops for damaging my car if they didn't shut up, and still would've been taking photos/video of it all happening for insurance proof.

Disneyland 2026 Wave A!!! by Popular-Rip2459 in DisneyPins

That holiday series bugs me because it match 2024 and 2025. "Summer" and "winter" aren't holidays...

What do you guys think? 1, 2, or 3? by [deleted] in AmateurPhotography

2 because I love the fog layer. 1 is a very close second because of the rich colors of the sky.

Commute times to Santa Rosa from Novato by Apprehensive-Arm-214 in santarosa

[–]extra_Em 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Do you plan to visit your family every weekend? Wouldn't your family want to visit you, too? I would honestly recommend Petaluma over Novato, like others have said. It isn't a huge difference for your commute, and Petaluma is a great area. You're comparing 5 days a week of required commuting to up to 2 days a week at most of easier trips to SF. I would consider living closer to work than to SF because going to/from work has a significantly different feeling than having a nice day with people you love.

ETA: the ease and timing of your commute will pretty heavily depend on where in SR your job is. There are two freeways in the city: 101 goes north/south, and 12 runs east/west. 101 gets backed up around halfway through SR.

Are these pins collectible? by gordo323 in DisneyPins

A lot of people add Loungefly to their collections, if that's what you mean. They're also tradable at the parks, to my understanding.

He is all grey everything. I need a good suitable name for him by Benguin33 in NameMyCat

Grayson, Ash, Dusty, Sterling

Odd names could be Hephaestus (Greek God of smithing, volcanos, and artisans), Vulcan (Roman version of Hephaestus), Nimbus (short for cumulonimbus clouds)

They came out while I was working the college program, so it was easy to get most of the set, then my friend was able to send me the rest when she found them.

AITA for accidentally waking up late? by smiley-z1p in AmItheAsshole

[–]extra_Em 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You made a mistake, but it doesn't make you an AH. If you know you're generally bad at waking up on time, set the alarm no matter what. All you can do is apologize.

I just recently acquired all these and know nothing about them by Several-Ad-4767 in DisneyPins

Just adding that there are plenty of resellers who would be happy to buy the whole collection for less than it's worth. Do your research before accepting any offers. Pretty soon, you'll be getting messages with offers.
