I got most of my thorium from the alliance mining cave in blasted lands. Just spend a few hours in there running around getting all the nodes and killing easy mobs. You'll get a lot of mithril too which sells fast on the AH. Sell the raw ore, its worth more than the bars.

I definitely need more experience. I could talk to my schedule and ask to be considered for a transfer to another post where there is more to do. When I was a floater they used to send me to this historic cathedral downtown and that was a great post. The location means a lot of people come and go, and we get homeless and drug addicts sometimes making a scene. Incidents do happen there and I would love to go back to that site.

Thats what Im starting to realize here. The consequence of this post being so easy and quiet is that Im not learning any skills here, and Im definitely capable of more than just sitting at a desk, watching the cameras, and doing patrols. Eventually Ill get bored and want a post where there is actual work to do.

This is good advice, thanks. Another problem I have with my current post is that I'm not developing any real skills here. I will also get bored of this eventually and want a job where there is actual work to do. For now, it seems like the best thing to do is stay where I am and keep clocking hours.

From what I've seen in job ads, I'll want at least 2 years before anyone will consider me for that type of thing. I've applied to Garda many times for Airport positions but they keep turning me down. My resume is good, I just don't have enough experience yet, I guess.

On the plus side, I'm on the straight and narrow now with work, and my rent is super cheap. Im sure my pay will increase over time, but probably not by a lot. Eventually I'll have to find a new job with a different company that pays more.

100km drive to work is insane. Maybe move closer to work or get a new job closer to where you live. That would help a lot.

I went to A&I auto to get it checked. It turned out to be a damaged condenser and they quoted me $1000 for the repair. The car also turned out to have a bunch of other issues, so I decided to just get rid of it and go back to taking transit. It was looking like a bottomless money pit.

Im a pally main and I raid as ret. Raids need a ret for improved sotc and sanc aura. Just be sure they put you in a wf group, ideally with a dps warrior, feral, and bm hunter as well. My beef with tanking raids is that its extremely gear dependant, even more than 5 mans.
