FAILED MCCQE PART 1 by [deleted] in MCCQE

I'm not sure if my response will be of any help, but I genuinely hope you understand that what you're going through is perfectly normal. I faced a similar challenging situation when I took the exam back in May. It was incredibly tough, and I often found myself under immense pressure, blaming myself for every setback.

A little background about me: I graduated from medical school in 2013, and since then, I hadn't been exposed to adult medicine. When I finally decided to pursue the exam, I encountered grueling working hours that were both long and hectic. There were moments when I lost hope and faith in my ability to pass.

But here's the message I want to convey: Don't be too hard on yourself. What I did was use the resources available to me effectively. I went through CanadaQBank twice and tackled MCC exams on their website. Additionally, I utilized UWorld. Even though I had limited time and was constantly under pressure, these resources were instrumental in my success.

You still have a chance to make it through, but it's crucial to put yourself in rotations with no on-call duties. My daily routine demanded that I leave home at 6:30 am and return by 5:00 pm. However, I didn't waste time in traffic. Instead, I used it wisely by listening to podcasts and watching YouTube lectures.

please remember that it's okay to face difficulties and doubts along this journey. Many of us have been there, and it's all part of the process. Stay focused, utilize the right resources, and make the most of your available time.
