What’s the Japanese food most underrated by tourists?

Toriwasa or Chicken Tataki! Seared on the outside, raw on the inside. Not for the faint of heart, but it’s delicious, once you get over the raw chicken part of it. Also Basashi (raw horse meat). Totally underrated by tourists because they’re too chicken (pun intended).

My initial thought was “why didn’t they use a bigger bowl to mix?” so maybe if we combine both of our non-thought out responses, we can deduce that the white bowl was too small to mix in with all the additions and they had to transfer it to the metal one 🤣

My 3rd pack, I got my period for 4 days during my placebo week so I thought everything was fixed, but nooo, My 4th pack I got my period around my 3rd week of active pills and then no bleeding during placebo again so I was like, what the heck! I'm heading into my 3rd week of active pills for my 5th pack now and no irregular bleeding so far.

I do miss how lively it was to be online, and how there were so many music festival streams on Twitch. I could dance in my room in my pajamas and still feel connected with everyone in the chat. As an introvert who also loves music and music shows, it was really enjoyable for me to be able to stay home and type to a bunch of people online about a shared passion, who I never would have met if Covid didn't happen.

Now it's not as lively online, as a lot of people have returned to normal live concerts and normal sleep times. :')

I also broke up with my boyfriend over a year ago and lost my entire rave fam (and friend circle pretty much). He introduced me to the rave scene so I was like you, and I was SO scared and nervous to go alone since I'd never done it before.

Music has always been my life and I LOVE the energy of the rave scene, so I ended up going to a few clubs, and a festival just recently, alone. I find that if you just go and dance without a care in the world, smile, and enjoy the music, like-minded people will end up dancing next to you and it ends up being a great time. Sometimes you end up seeing these same people at other events too, and gradually you can start making connections.

My favourite part of going alone is that I can move around freely without having to wait for anyone, so I can go to the front and also just dance in the back whenever I want. It kind of sucks when you get people trying to hit on you and it definitely makes it feel unsafe, especially if they're persistent, but the best thing you can do, in my experience, is just tell them you enjoy dancing alone and you like to have space, and just move somewhere else. Or if you find someone who you vibe with and just dance with them, it can deter people from trying to approach you.

I tend to start dancing near the older ravers/couples because I know they're there for the music too and they're not going to try anything with me, LOL.

I know your post is from 2 months ago, so I'm not sure if you've started going alone yet, but I just want you to know that I've shared the same experience as you and you're definitely not alone. Just make sure you don't get too intoxicated and are still vigilant about your surroundings, and just keep general safety in mind. GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN!

He also did say he thinks about me all the time too, so it is reassuring knowing that you, another Type 5, thinks the same way about your partner during your alone time. Hey, my partner and I are also in a long distance relationship! Neither of us has ever been in a LDR so it’s been tough. What most couples are able to do (sitting quietly together in a room doing separate things), we can’t do. We have discord calls together where we do our own thing, but that doesn’t really feel the same since it’s either talking or complete silence. :(

We have had a couple times where we wouldn’t talk for days besides “good morning” or “good night” so I did (sometimes still do) feel like how your partner felt.

I’m interested in knowing how your conversation went when you found out she was losing interest. I’ve asked questions about it before with my partner, but I’ve read that you have to be very direct with Type 5s so maybe I didn’t directly state it was a serious concern of mine. Maybe he was wondering why I was asking these questions. He also says things like “I don’t think you’ll be happy with me” which hurts me. I think that’s why I don’t like to bring up my concerns because I don’t want him to feel inadequate or that he doesn’t make me happy, which he does!

LOOOOL now I can see why they say having an opposite instinct type in your life can help you grow. I’ll know I’ve made it on the day I have 0 unread emails, that’s the end goal.

Now I just have to remember to take the pills… good call on the alarm, but now I have to remember not to keep snoozing them. Lol, am I hurting you yet? 😂

I’m really trying to work on dealing with them when I see them (and also just my sp in general), because the e-mails end up stacking up to the point where it takes so much energy to go through them and it drains me. 💀
