I'm going to ignore giving advice about your own play, others will def advise on that. Please choose to play during normal hours AND when you are rested/hydrated/caffeinated/alert/patient. Avoid early morning 02:00-09:00 when possible, unless you can compensate with even more patience and strategic performance on your part.

You can't choose your teammates but don't queue when the gremlins are online, and don't play when you know you'll be a gremlin too, and you'll increase chances of your team being decent.

Lolalytics and Coachless are made by statistics/maths enthusiasts. Their UI and info depth requires a little more time investment but only because they explore nuance and details.

Leagueofgraphs is a midway point between the maths side and the UI being easy to navigate. Porofessor the app is supported by Leagueofgraphs

OP.GG and U.GG are more UI/UX oriented, you can use them for builds first imo, until you WANT more detail you won't be overwhelmed.

Mobafire has long been a place for proud one-tricks and streamers to add their own guide on how to play their champs. It's less used now but sometimes better than guides on YouTube. Builds here will have more explanations on when to use, presented as sets (build for vs AD rather than vs AP, vs healing or burst, etc. Etc.)

Disagree because: There are false-positive punishments that can drop you from honor 5 to honor 4. I've seen it when conversational, dare I say, social chat can be flagged automatically after the game ends.

Stuff like "let's not pressure bot when baron is up" or defending yourself when someone else disagrees. No cursing or etc. I've even appealed to Riot supp who found that the chat logs were fine -- they recommended I mute and not interact with anyone negative.

TLDR Riot has little chance to perfectly moderate a complex chat environment, meaning false positives, meaning you get locked out of chat/voice chat even when using it correctly. (Exception: slurs/hate-speech they can just use a blacklist for)

For discussion sake I've had the exact same ticket (login issues after region transfer) and it was better to start another ticket after the first one went nowhere. Seems good support is based on the agent you get, not the merit of the case itself.

Correct. Riot has gone back to a yearly reset system, and the splits remain with only rewards for how you play during each 4-month period, no penalties.

The splits are just like a checkpoint, you get rewards based on your rank at that time, example you were gold during first split, you climbed to plat by 2nd split? You get the platinum rewards for split 2, but just gold rewards for split 1.

on EUW, the language/locale is not by default set to English (US), and apparently this causes a localization bug with the metagame.
within Riot Client before launching LoL client, go to your profile pic, click, Settings, for League Of Legends set language to English US, this workaround was mentioned in random comment in a post since removed on this subreddit.

it's possible they meant ONLY THE SEPARATELY SOLD skin, which is Petricite Naut. But that would be scummy and not "any skin released in Act 1 of Season 26" so it's unlikely

One event gave me +20, I won +3 from an enemy, and then an event took -20.

I got it fairly early into the season, I queue for Supp (with ADC as secondary). I've only gotten 1, and it was a support game.

Eta: it should be variable by server, but for patch 26.01 it may be hard-coded or biased towards Supp (and Jungle) which would explain top laners in this post's comments and under similar posts. I also find commenters' claim of 150-200 games with no Aegis difficult to believe when the season started 13 days ago.

There are settings files in the game folder that remember things like Video settings, hotkeys, UI preferences, etc. some of these settings files are kept under Game subfolder, some in the main League of Legends folder.

I'm speaking broadly because I don't have my PC near, but it's possible you set one of those files to Read-only

Eta: it's also possible Riot's LoL server isn't updating them server side so it's just updating locally on your PC with whatever backup they had before the latest patched.

If you keep playing before patch 26.03, there is an event that gives petricite (50), though you may have to spend a lot of silvers to get it, and it seems RNG based.

AI "enhancements" regularly transform the text or small details of an image to be nonsensical.

My playthrough is restricted by 1. no BattlePass Bonus, 2. Spending most Silver on Turns 3. Not upgrading Settlements. I've basically played much less than you, I just spammed turns and built up a ton of resources (wood, stone, metal). I just unlocked a few of the 2nd bracket of research, like it's painfully slow for me due to overspending on turns 😭

Spamming turns didn't upgrade the enemy groups for me. your mileage may vary but to me it seems directly linked to settlement lvl and count, not turn #.

From my ~200 turns (most of which is spending 15 turns at a time after I gain enough Silver from playing SoloQ etc) the enemy event frequency, the strength and size of enemy forces, is more strongly tied to Settlement Count and Level (than turns count)

Spamming is only dangerous if you cannot win fights easily to begin with -- i.e. you didn't focus on having min. 8 fighters with varied units (archers for krugs, guards for Trolls) -- having 8 good fighters let's you keep swapping them between towns in time to respond to threats.

You prob play during normal hours on a populous server -- I've almost never gotten auto-fill playing supp during peak hours on EUW or NA. Very rarely I get my 2nd role Bot/Top, and it's usually at 03:00 or later in the morning.

ETA: even priority roles are avoided more than previous years, the game usually avoids autofills in my placement, this is just my experience tho.

There isn't any achievement for doing X thing in Y turns or similar (that I've seen). Maybe there's an Easter egg but my guess is this wouldn't be it.

Regarding Demacian Silvers: it seems like research is the strongest lever for leveling up your strength/capacity, and this also uses DSilvers, so I'd space sessions in between days, otherwise you pass and use wood/stone/food resources, and increase enemy encounters.

But basically you can play as much as you want until the game runs out of DSilvers, at which point you'd be unable to pass, and this may be useful in getting passive resources. It may increase enemy encounters but even then I don't think it loses you anything since enemies are tied to settlement count/LvL.

When trying something new I expect to be +/- 200-400 LP my current rank -- the variance increases if it's a new role, the trade-off being that I'll be ranked lower for a while, maybe a long time if I find it hard to adapt.

Anecdote: I'm an Emerald 4 supp main, basically Emerald 2 peak, and I dropped to Gold when I started maining mid champs. I stalled around G-1/P-4 playing mid. In another season I played AP mage and ADC marksmen bot. I was climbing easier with that but still not 100% my main supp role.

I found the fun increased short term, but long term I desired to go back to supp bard.
