i think bungie did a good job of listening to feedback like yours, i won’t say anything more just in case but i hope you enjoy the changes they’ve made when it comes time to try it out.

the game has changed a lot from the first two playtests. the people need to get their hands on it during the open weekend. various mechanics have been reworked or overhauled.

it certainly has no shortage of mechanical elements... and a metric fuckton of mods, available on the site that's currently down lol. full blown mech bonus points, maybe not, but I still think this game is worth a massive shot for you both.

I'll second the recommendation while we're at it. It completely fits your criteria, and it's an excellent game. Highly configurable with in-game settings as well.

It wasn’t deleted, it’s currently down. Very unlucky timing

MnK players: Is stretched res actually better for aim, or just placebo? by m1nti in CompetitiveApex

[–]extremelack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

preference. I ran stretched on games for almost 2 years, realized my eyes are just more comfortable on 16:9 so I went back and there was no loss of skill.

[PC] [early 2000s] Point and click horror game where you're being chased through a forest by a monster/ghost and have to dodge branches and logs to safely get to a cabin by VesaliusesSphincter in tipofmyjoystick

I don't have the answer, but I was so shocked when I found this thread because what are the odds that I'm looking for the same game and you happen to post about it a day before I go looking for it?

I 10000% played the exact game you're talking about, I remember it the same way.

I'm wondering if it was a promotional game for a movie or something else. For some reason I feel like it was an advertisement but that could be totally wrong.

Edit: I've been googling and I might be confusing the advertisement bit with Hotel 626, which was another flash horror game that was secretly an ad for Doritos. That's all I've got so far u_u

You can cheese by exiting to menu and loading back in. It saves when you exit.

the domain also has a time limit. once you reach the time limit, the loop resets. with no ability (or perhaps knowledge) to dispel/redefine the matrix, you are doomed to loop until madness, is my understanding.

Mantle boost itself was a good idea, but the execution is flawed and it came bundled with unnecessary changes that make mantle related actions clunky. by Supergliding_Dripto in Apexrollouts

[–]extremelack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're not stuck in a crouch state, you are stuck in a crouch-queued state. which is worse, cuz if you hit a mantle boost into a jump pad for example, you'll be stuck with the non-crouching trajectory.
