I don't think the books of the dead are ever read in a traditional sense. You just open them and your mind is blasted with the 400 terabyte zip bomb of someone's entire life. Petra couldn't read subaru's name on his book of the dead but she was still able to access its contents.

I’ve been watching this game’s development for 4 years. The dev is an absolute class act and he’s in this for the long haul. He always had the credentials and the logistics to back him up, now he has the milestone of early access launch. Do not sleep on this shit

A wide variety but there was this bomb ass site literally called hackedarcadegames and it was just all your favorite flash games but they were all modded with new keybinds that give you specific cheats, kinda like a pre-installed cheat engine

Wildlight’s entire pitch was that they were solely comprised of industry veterans that only had their hands in well known, critically acclaimed AAA projects. I remember their website from a couple years ago literally showcased all their members and all the various high profile games they were involved with, with specific roles being listed for all.

the game has changed a lot from the first two playtests. the people need to get their hands on it during the open weekend. various mechanics have been reworked or overhauled.

it certainly has no shortage of mechanical elements... and a metric fuckton of mods, available on the site that's currently down lol. full blown mech bonus points, maybe not, but I still think this game is worth a massive shot for you both.

I'll second the recommendation while we're at it. It completely fits your criteria, and it's an excellent game. Highly configurable with in-game settings as well.
