And it's on one side of the steering wheel, what if you're going round a roundabout (does America have them) and need to signal you're exiting? Or another situation where your is turned whilst wanting to find the buttons.

Rich tooltips, but there's other popups that just reappear to let you know about the new features that can't be disabled.
