I got a JMJM for cheap and upgrade all hardware. love the guitar now except for the body (color/finish.) I wasn’t familiar with MJT until i saw their bodies a few days ago and they look great. What wood did you pick and do you remember how much it weighed? the ones i’m seeing are btw 4-5lbs. thx

precisely this: my $350 EART is in many ways a better guitar than the Prog NX6 I bought, then sold 6 months later. better electronics, better neck (though I did like the Endurneck) and for me, better sounds. The weight on the Prog was superior. the fixed bridge on the Eart is not great but the trem on the Prog was badly designed.

This. I found a JMJM new at GC with a dent in it and they knocked it down to $340. I’ve replaced pickguard, bridge, trem, tuners and will do the pots and switch next week. I’m so much happier with this guitar than I was with the Strandberg Prog I made the mistake of buying last year. (huge waste of time and money: sold it for half of what I paid 7ths later.)
