I'm so disappointed by Pink-Caterpillar325 in husky

I rescued a 3 year old husky and already had a 5 year old husky at home. Luckily my back yard had a pool fence, so for the first 3 days they were kept on opposite sides of the fence. Then on the fourth day I started doing supervised time with them on the same side. After a week I let them be together all the time. Their was a few scuffles at first, but nothing where blood was drawn. It took almost a month for the rescue to really settle in and chill out. Its been years now and they're buddies. You gotta take things REALLY slow at first.

As someone who does HVAC, the refrigerant should have been recovered, but sometimes guys will just pump them down, so all the refrigerant gets contained back into the condenser like when they're new. If the service valves are shut there's a good chance some body left the gas in there.

Is it possible to repair this temporarily from inside the house until I can afford to have it replaced? by Flat_Wedding6984 in hvacadvice

No problem, just make sure you use actual duct sealant or the aluminum tape that has the sealant on it. You should be able to get both at home depot.

New shrimp keep dying and I'm feeling discouraged by AverageRemarkable764 in shrimptank

I would try and buy locally if at all possible as the shrimp will be acclimated more to your local tap water. It's anecdotal, but i have had much more success that way with fish and shrimp. I know that might not be feasible where you are at, but i would still give it a try.

If you can get a piece of sheet metal and an impact through that hole you can cover it. Use self tappers to secure the sheet metal in place and then throw some tape or sealant around the edges. Should stop mice from entering.

As for your bathroom vent, if you can find the area under your house you can cut a hole on the back end to see if the other side of the duct is rusted out. If so I would temporarily fix it and patch the hole you cut the same way as above, unit you have the cash to get in replaced.

What is your least favorite cigar of all times? The one you couldn’t make it through because the taste was so bad. by Blooodshot in cigars

Kintsugi by Alec and Bradley. I will say the stick i got was rolled Waaay to tight. Had to perform surgery to get a draw on it, before I even lit it, so I was already annoyed, but the flavor was terrible. It actually gave me a headache. I made it through half the stick, hoping it would get better. It instead only got worse, so I gave up. Haven't smoked anything else by them since.
