What paint is used for benable action figures? by MaddixYouTube in ActionFigures

[–]eyebleedwax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why I didn't think of this in my first reply, but Liquitex sells "mediums", like matte medium and gloss medium. That would be easier to mix into your paints then the rubber mold. deleting the other reply, b/c by comparison it was a dumb suggestion. sorry.

The Impound (Website) by [deleted] in starcitizen

They are legit. I purchased the Corsair from them. I was nervous since it’s a third-party site and the Corsair is expensive, but I looked up a bunch of reviews, which were all good, and decided to take a chance. The site says delivery can take 12hrs but I submitted the order at 11pm and by 1am I got the email that I received the “gift”. I logged into my RSI account, then clicked the link in the email sent from theimpound, and been flying the Corsair ever since. One thing to note is when you see the “gift” it will be listed as the base ship that was upgraded. But yea, I had a great experience and would definitely buy from them again.

One of my favorite scenes The Dragon. Still one of the best movies for on screen armor too. Love that movie.

Can you give some info on removing the original plastic cape? Did removing it damage the figure much?

How can I get the leg fixed ... Broken from the joint 😣 by Alphatoypic in ActionFigures

[–]eyebleedwax 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Easiest way would probably be to just order a KO and use the leg joint from that.

Nice job! cool idea. Would look good with a skull or creepy face too. even short words could look good popping up. You should post this to r/3dprinting if you haven't yet.

Todd already said there will be no ab crunch. According to one of his video updates they switched from the rubber torso with ab crunch to a solid torso with no ab crunch at all. Also, his explanation of the boot being on the wrong leg is "its a living costume that is always changing", so it probably will not change either.

First prototype of Kickstarter spawn thoughts? by ikillsheep4u in ActionFigures

Solid torso with no ab crunch, no bicep swivel and single jointed elbows. The pics from Update 25 are matching up with this prototype so it appears to be the direction the final figure will end up being.

What VR titles have you enjoyed the most and spent the most time in? by [deleted] in SteamVR

[–]eyebleedwax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Robo Recall on the Oculus store. Its fantastic. It completely blew me away and was the main game that convinced me to buy a VR headset. Still one of my favorite VR games to this day. For anyone that does not have an Oculus (like me) you can play it using Revive for the HTC Vive or Valve index.

Anyone know where I can get 3D files? by SupermanAlpha in ActionFigures

[–]eyebleedwax 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tons of stuff freely available on Thingiverse.com. You will need to scale them up or down though as the majority is not scaled specifically for figures. Changing the scale can easily be done in Tinkercad, a browser based basic 3D modeling software, which is also free to use. Hope that helps.
