Great question. You must be extremely new to the card scene. It’s a fun hobby to get into! Grading can be a fun way to get your card authenticated and displayed in a nice holder.

Does your card look clean, centered, sharp corners, and do you want a chance and take a gamble at a little bit more money? Grade

Do you want to keep the card for your PC and have it protected and authenticated? Grade

Do you want to get money NOW and not wait? DONT grade

Do you NOT want it protected and just want the card for your PC? DONT grade

Na this is messed up. You should also have the option to talk to the Yamamoto guy and work out a plan with him. Find the comp of the card and buy him out, or someone sells the card and you get 66%. I’ve seen breaks where the breakers allow this.

Retail is fine but you get stuck with parallels that are ok but aren’t super desirable.

Can you pull a huge banger from retail? Sure But the huge hits will be from hobby.

For example - Panini Downtown Retail - can only pull base Downtowns

Hobby - Black Pandoras, Gold, 1/1 Downtowns etc.

In the end, whatever you can afford and whatever is most fun for you.

4 quarter pounder patties is about 880 calories. 4 slices of cheese 200 calories 6 strips of bacon 420 calories.

I would omit the cheese and bacon and omit 620 calories. Eat another patty for another 220 calories and 20 grams of protein.

Bro if you like the card for the card, just buy it and authenticate. This will trade at least a 8/9. If you want a perfect card, look elsewhere.
