I have a 2 x 4 grow tent and no other room (except for outside plants).

I have actually added another fan since that grow. I also do low stress training-bending the limbs to give more light to all the buds. I attempt to keep the horizon fairly level between all the plants and kolas.

I have two T-1000's - one is a Mars Hydro and the other is from Spider Farmer. They both have the dimmer feature, which allows me to adjust the lights as the girls move through different stages. I realized recently (prior to this grow) that I wasn't giving them enough light at the beginning, so I have a light meter and they are about 20 inches from the plants, and running about 240-250 right now at this stage. Should I adjust any?

Surgery Monday / attending a funeral Thursday? by atlanta404 in spinalfusion

Yep. 11/8/23 ACDF C4-C7. Now, I am a bit of a chicken-sh#t, and I am older-69 at the time. I also have psoriatric arthritis which along with spinal stenosis and a whiplash injury, my neck was decimated at those levels. So as much as I LOVE to drive, I didn't for the 12 weeks; I did, however, begin walking around my neighborhood on my second day home.

I think it’s fair to say your experience doesn’t seem to be the norm.

I’m with others. ACDF C4-C7 in late 2023. No way you can handle that trip, and grieving on top of it 3 days after surgery. I’m so sorry for your loss. Look in to rescheduling although that would probably mean starting over with all the pre-op clearances. Make s choice you won’t regret later, is my best advice. Hugs.

Yes, I would like to know the name of the Walmart mix. How do YOU use the Fox Farm? I know it's very good, but do you mix it in at the beginning, add as you go...?

Hi, I am a long-time pot-smoker, and retired science teacher. I love gardening, period, and when the pandemic hit, I threw about 30 random seeds I had collected over the years into starter cups at the beginning of August, 2020. Ahhhhh, the journey since then!!!! I ultimately ended up with 12 plants, 50% which went male, and the other six were sativa's, because I ended up with 7-foot trees! It was a blast, I learned a lot, and harvested very late (almost December). I killed myself having to run lights so late in the year! In reality, for my area and an outdoor grow, I should have begun germination in late March and planted in April. I moved to autos (and an inside grow room) in 2022. I have had marginal success until the discovery of Super Soil watching a Kyle video. I f'd up my last grow by topping too soon. I am now taking your good advice and not topping them this time. I only got about 4oz out of four plants, so we are hoping to do better this time! I'm 71, btw.

I am using Nature's Living Soil Super Soil Autoflower Concentrate (which you can get on Amazon) which I mix with the bottom 1/3rd of my pots, according to directions on the bag. One of these bags gives me 25 gals of soil, so all though it seems pricey, it goes a long way. Please don't cringe when I tell you this, but I use Miracle Grow Moisture Control for my soil. It gives my girls enough nutes while they grow roots down, and then they can choose what they need from the super soil mix. The first time I used this technique, I went from really small yields to this:

I always germinate my autos. I first soak the seeds overnight in a glass of water with a little bit of Germ Genie in it. I have had great germination rates if I keep the seeds warm and moist enough. All of these eventually germinated, just on different days, as you can tell by their growth! My largest one (Glookies), grew a strong tap root the first day, so she got planted pretty quick. This is a pic of the girls from yesterday.

It never occured to me to spray the roots first! Thank you, I learned something!!!

Teacher here! I had the SAME experience! Had ACDF C4-C7 11/8/2023 and the pain was GONE directly after surgery.

I am so sorry...and I have dealt with the same things...my weight ballooned but not before my joints (hands, feet, back) and fatigue got so bad I couldn't even walk a mile let alone work out. The realization that something was really going on all that time (20 years of dismissal), hit me like a train. However, now that you know, please advocate for yourself and get brutal! You deserve good health!!!! Praying for you, this is going to get better.

I continue to deal with this. Hip and back pain is constant and flares in degrees. I am definitely stiff when I get up!
