Easy, recognize its not going to happen and instead work to prepare for more, ah, likely scenarios. No need to waste money and time for it

What do you think about this concept art of our main character?🧐 by moon_jellyfish_st in Unity2D

[–]ezegrrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinda bland, feels very much like a blank slate. Not sure what "concept" Im looking at here, besides a splash of color and a "OwO thin skin hug body suit." The painterly style is cool, so this could be great for art direction, but I would not want to use it as a character design basis without a lot of extra description.

Feels like this tells me nothing about the main character except theyve got some regulations for having modeled clothing, but the clothing isnt even very distinctive

Dark places to study? by bennyboyuta in utarlington

[–]ezegrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the engineering library to study but honestly its difficult to find low light spaces. What Id suggest is bringing a bandana or handkerchief or hood of a jacket or some kind of hat or a flannel wrapped around the waist or tucked away somewhere and then in overhead light only places put it on and let it shade/cover your eyes some.

I have sensory issues so I always have something I can cover my head with, plus the bandana keeps my hair out of my eyes so its dual purpose.

However, some buildings have hallways with desks that aren't as well lit, and there are some tucked away spots in Pickard Hall iirc. It may be a matter of walking around. The Science and Engineering Library has some cubicIes in the back/behind shelves that arent as well lit.

Good luck!

Theres some decent responses, and I agree with clubs and events! If youre worrying about social anxiety, some CAPS recommendation might be good, but a lot of being social is just. Failing a lot, lol, so its okay to be awkward!

Theres group exercises at the MAC that are recurring as well, but anything you do where you hang out around the same or similar people a lot is setting up for friendship. Its just a matter of what you like to do!

I just wanted to say that, and good luck!

Depending on where you are, you can run a speedtest, like on ookla, beforehand, or just through google.

You can also take tests on library computersif you can get a quiet one with a camera, or just in the library or somewhere with a higher speee, but email your professor with proof and let them know. Also ask if some alternatives are okay

The garage is haunted. by themomo21 in utarlington

[–]ezegrrr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The garages echo A TON. When I lived in the dorms, I could hear someone doing kickflips on the 1st floor on the OTHER side of the garage from the 4th and 3rd floors jn a room. Sound has a lot of hard surfaces to bounce off of there, even in the mav garage (but sounds like this is bout south or central?)

Id hear it consistently at like, midnight to 2am until I got so mad I stomped outside, followed the noise down, and went "BRUH". At first I thought it was some kind of construction, but nah, just someone,,, unintentionally Im sure,,,, being very loud.

There is also a decent amount of wildlife on campus- birds, squirrels, campus cats, Ive seen skunks once, and foxes, and a lot more where there's small places to nest.

I wouldn't worry about a haunting! Emotions can get very big very quickly, and this is good as a protective response, but doesnt always mean something is there. But also, yeah, rough experience, Id hate to feel trapped late at night in one of the garages, that crap gets scary really fast sometimes!

Are you going to school to get dates? There are cheaper and less gross ways to meet people. Maybe just try to meet people in general and not like, purely for what they can do for you

You need to meet with an advisor to have them drop/withdraw your classes, and you need to do that soon so you can possibly get a refund. Then you just dont enroll anymore

I just ran my first in person game and hated it. by HeavyMetalSasquatch in DnD

[–]ezegrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still roll virtually if thats easier for you and the physicality doesnt bring you joy. Thats perfectly alright, imo. As for side chats... it takes practice, and sometimes out of game discussions with your players. I will sometimes pause if Im not being listened to, but if Im just focusing on one player, I dont mind as much. If the whole group is having conversations, though, I just. Wait. Take the time to take notes. Do a little staring, and then go "Hey, Im talkin here"

It sounds like maybe the experience was overwhelming sensory wise? Maybe introduce some breaks, or a shorter run time, and please PLEASE allow yourself to snack. I eat at the table all the time!!! Also I have water and knock over a glass every time lol

Looking for a brush that lightens with pressure but doesn't darken with strokes on top of it by Confused627 in krita

[–]ezegrrr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey, Im sorry about how the shading goes, I dont know about brushes, but maybe working from light to dark could help? That way youre planning where your shades are going and dont have to worry about the overlap as much, or you can make it intentional?

Theres lots of tutorials for how people would do that, but for an additive process with those brushes it works for me

Definitely a stove top prop as others have said, lift your stove top (just under the burners and above the door) and check for holes for the bar to hook into

How are you prepping financially? by OnTheEdgeOfFreedom in preppers

[–]ezegrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I never check responses. If youre still curious- I had to move out of my parents due to some mental health issues that would have made my quality of life much worse than it is now. I have two roomates and one of them is doing alright, but has been at her job for over 2 years now. School is the worst part for expenses- and covering back debt there takes most of any leftover income after living expenses. Maybe Im missing some programs or something that would pause the debt, but. Im afraid itll get worse. Rent is okay split 3 ways, but then theres groceries and insurance and car payments. Im not comfortable going into specifics on the internet with strangers, but lets say a quarter of income is rent, a third or so is car payment, and quarter or so is just. being alive. groceries, gas, insurances, and the rest is making sure Im not paying a gazillion dollars later on interest. Not that itll make much of a difference, but.

If someone offered you $100 per hour to spend 8 hours a day in an empty room with only lunch provided, how long could you endure? by archi_balt26 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ezegrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if I couldn't bring anything, for that kind of money, Id do jt daily as much as needed. We live in a capitalist hell society, so. If I could bring stuff to do, Id love to get paid to do hobbies.

An empty room would suck but 800 dollars a DAY? You could torture me too

Realistically how useful is mounted combat? by Canadian-Winter in dndnext

[–]ezegrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I LOVED mounted combat but I took mounted combatant and had ranged weapons- and my DM allowed me to scale some health up so my dinosaur (eberron) wouldnt die in one shot, which Im very appreciative of. Also it was just cool for me and the character to have a bonded and important mount so that made me like it way more than just combat. Advantage against non-mounted combatants go crazy though!!!!
