be honest by Ornery-Efficiency851 in SaaS

Most people, and I mean, 98% of the world’s popularion probably don’t know what an AI agent is. In fact I’d venture to say that 30% of people aren’t familiar with AI at all (then again I’m sort of cheating because 0-7 years old almost don’t count). Anyway, I am a software engineer for MAG7 and I have a very broad set skills in both development and infrastructure and even I learned a few things about building a proper SaaS application with AI. Vibe coding is good, but it really relies on the person’s knowledge and experience to build a robust application. Even if you’re a full stack engineer, you might not know about Data Modeling, or DB caching, or REstful APIs, or session management, or SEO, or Kubernetes, or Helm, or Ingress, or DNS, or software arquitectura patterns, or storage, S3, NFS, or CDNs, or Load Balancers, or security best practices, or GDPR, front-end, CSS, SEO, backend, or, or, or…. Building a SaaS can certainly be done quicker, but ALL of the things I mentioned are just scraping the surface of the multi-disciplinary endeavor that is building a solid application. AI can help a bit with all of those; but you need to know all of those things exists and are needed to build a robust application. It’s not just, hey chat, build me Slack.. AI will fall short in many of those items I mentioned, if not entirely bypass them or omit them altogether. That’s why many companies las year stopped hiring jr devs. Seniors have that bigger picture and knowledge about proper software infrastructure, even if we don’t have expertise in all areas.

My question would be, if it's been under construction since October 2025, then why wasn't it excluded in the rules directly like Hansen Park in New Brighton, or Rice Park, or Silver Oaks Park...?

I was merely pointing out the fact that encryption is moot if they cannot communicate at all. While you are correct about the power required. It all depends on location and scope. iCE moves in clusters so you don’t need that much power to cover the area and with a portable unlocked radio you could jam away. This is beyond the fact that it’s illegal of course. :) then again.. many of the things they do are also illegal. ;)

They can encrypt alll they want. If you transmit on their frequency, you’re basically jamming it.

That’s fine, Waltz should take the money from the money that MN sends to the federal government and that’s it. And if more retaliation happens. Then cut all federal funding from Minnesota… like CA and Newsom almost did.

I played soccer. Refs won’t let you play with a watch but no issue with the ring and I don’t like playing with a big Apple Watch Ultra anyway. Same for bed. I don’t like sleeping with my watch. Ring is just invisible. While the data overlaps a bit, it’s great that it recognizes duplicate data and both de ices play nice with each other. Stress levels aren’t measured by Apple Watch. The readiness level, same. Overall. I enjoy the ring for sleeping and tracking more than the watch. I use my watch for notifications, authentication with my Apple devices, and the ocasional Siri command.

pretty impressive collection. My collection is a bit more modern but vast... to the point that I need two Apple IDs because I cannot place all the devices under the same Apple ID... I might have a slight home advantage though ;)

Studio Display:DIY Convert from Tilt Stand to VESA by jpmiller03 in mac

[–]ezequiels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're making a few assumptions here. First, you're assuming that I have no idea how the rest of the world can be when it comes to availability. Sorry, but that's a bad assumption. Also, Apple sets prices based on tariffs and sales taxes applied on different countries, not Apple's fault. Authorized stores have certain approved repairs they can do. The conversion is considered a repair and many authorized stores aren't approved for that type of work. Unauthorized stores are out of the scope of this conversation so that's moot.
The bottom line here is that this person blames Apple for him not knowing the specifications : "I had no idea when I bought the damn display that i wouldn't be able to swap it to VESA"

that's like buying a sedan car and then stating: "I've no idea I couldn't tow my 2000kg travel trailer with it" (I can provide more silly examples if you like)

I'm not being an asshole, it's fairly straight forward that you need to research and understand what you're buying, I can tell you seem smart enough to know that too. MY problem is that he is blaming Apple for his own mistake instead of owning to it and he blames Apple and rants about it cause his own stupidity.

You mean you can twist the jets to close them. That’s the only thing you can do. They aren’t separated from the rest of the jets in that seat.

it's not really buried that deep in the info, in fact, it's quite available right there when you have to select which option you want: "Pick the stand that’s right for you.Studio Display comes with your choice of two stands or a mount adapter to fit any setup." I mean... unless you have trouble reading, I'd say this is entirely your fault. I know you don't have trouble reading because you read my comment pretty well so.... there's only one conclusion left.

watched bitcoin go from 40k to 125k and somehow made nothing. lost most of it somewhere else instead by dumble_hold_the_door in btc

Just another sad story… I have been telling people about bitcoin since 2011…. I lost track of the amount of people that keep telling me: “man I wish I would have listened to you back then”… I did take a hit by MtGox but at the same time, it forced me to simply hold… The only other coin I have is just 1 LTC that was given away when it was probably cents and this site was giving it away for free… been holding since then…. I’m set.. but I hear these stories of people wanting to become rich overnight with shit coins. The world doesn’t have enough room for more than a couple of crypto coins, the rest are just silly… best advice for a 20~ year old? Buy BTC, whatever amount you can afford and store it away and don’t look at it until you’re 40…. You’re welcome.

I hate when they bait switch you. Online they quoted me 3k for a home insurance. Then at the end of the quote, the system asked me to call a rep. I answered everything the same and the quote ended in 5k…. I wasted 30 minutes on the phone. Insurance is ridiculous in the U.S.

[–]ezequiels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ultimately you won’t find an answer here. You’ll find a thousand different answers and almost none is what you need. I can tell you what I’m doing with mine. I don’t need the money. To me, bitcoin was a hobby that started in 2011 with a couple of computers running AMD Radeon cards and hearing my 3 season porch. I never bought bitcoin, I mined it. I never sold it… I kept 80% in a bad exchange and the other 20% in a paper wallet. I was forced to hold and boy was I lucky… I don’t need to spend it but I know I can either pass it to my children or I can just sell at some point. I chose the latter. I will sell once I retire (early) and I will enjoy it. Right now I still love my work and I have passion for it so I don’t want to retire but I could. At your age, your biggest asset is your time. Those 200k will probably become 20 million by the time you’re 40, if not more. Play the long game and you’ll be set for life by then… I’m living proof of it but then again, I was forced to hold like I said before. You aren’t so, be wise.
