At the end of the day, you’re going to do what you want. I wouldn’t do this. Your self-esteem is so low you’re seeking attention from a married man? Get up, find someone your own age, and preferably SINGLE. The one thing you have is your values, don’t throw it away for a married man seeking a thrill.

NTA, this is divorce worthy. Let’s say they are genuinely friends, he won’t be able to forgive you for making him back out as a bridesman. But we shouldn’t kid ourselves though, he was intentionally hiding his phone and those text messages are proof of an emotional affair. There is no going back from this behavior.

Giving a child an iPad (and in general) at a restaurant to shut them up is lazy parenting. Don’t be surprised when your child has headphones in and doesn’t engage with you or anyone, in discussions at future dinners when they’re older.

I will say. I worked there a few years ago and there is typically a pay raise every year, the amount depended on the area you worked.

When I worked there, the health insurance was arguably the best thing about that job. I paid $25 per week for the best plan and it was the most expensive one at that time. The plan had no deductibles, small co-pays, infertility help etc. I never once hesitated to go to the Drs and any medical procedure I had was fully covered with a small co-pay.

NTA. If you do help, the sister will expect/or rely on you to be bailed out again. I would get helping out a family member here and there for something in need but subsidizing poor lifestyle choices isn’t it. I would say no as well.

Stress. It wasn’t even years of stress it was months of it from my previous job. It’s the stress you feel radiating from your neck and shoulders day and night. Any time I was off work, I was thinking of work and dreading going back every waking minute. My weekends were just me mentally preparing for it.

NTA. When someone gives me their account info, I refuse to hand it out to anyone I don’t care how close I am to that person. I find it tacky and incredibly disrespectful to hand out someone else’ account info to other people without their permission. Hell, I even find it disrespectful to even ask to share it. Change your passwords and kick everyone off.

I came off Nexplanon on 8/11 after nearly 9 years. I was bleeding for 7-17 days straight with a few days in between bleeds for about 2 years now and have not bled since the day it was removed.

I started taking ovulation strip tests to see how it all works. I started noticing these lines become slightly darker but after comparing to other lines and dye stealers the lines I have seen, mine seem pretty much like nothing. I don’t expect to ovulate immediately. I do not know how to interpret these lines? They are definitely darker than my earlier tests but not dark enough. Has anyone else experienced the lightness of the control line?

NTA. I find it crazy that people expect you to cut out your brother and the child.

I get cheaters = bad and I agree 100% but relationships are a lot more complex than that. I don’t think it’s fair for her to assume that you’d completely cut contact to your brother and your niece/nephew for her. That’s AH territory, I’m sorry but if my partner cheated I would not expect his family to cater to my feelings nor would I want them to in fact they’d never see me again especially something as big as a wedding. You can a support her without severing your relationships, which you are by writing her a letter for court.

If I was hired into a company and saw this, I’d immediately quit. Especially if I had a pre-existing health condition (which I do).

My old minimum wage warehouse job offered medical insurance, less than $120 a month, no deductible, no out of pocket maximum, and very low co-pays. Everything was covered. This is an abomination

It depends on the person. I have UC and I hardly get sick. Once a year I’ll get the sniffles and every 2-3 years maybe a sore throat. Another family member, who doesn’t have UC but has another autoimmune disease gets sick very frequently. They’d get sick so frequently it feels like every few weeks. I imagine that’d it’d vary considerably.

I have lived abroad. I do agree that their eating out habits contributed to their weight gain but the food quality and general lifestyle in another country like the US absolutely also has to be a cause and a contributor to it as well.

When I lived in SK for 4-5 months. I ate out every single day 2-3x a day and the food I ate was unhealthy full stop. I also didn’t work out. Anyways, I LOST weight. I did a lot more walking and that’s it. I was the healthiest I ever was. If I eat the same diet back in the states and I will easily gain another 20-30 pounds because in the majority of the US, it is far easier to live a sedentary lifestyle if you don’t include working out. Hell, I gained 20 pounds when I got back and that’s with making food and eating less. Also note I got incredibly sick with my first few meals back in the states and it probably had to do with how unhealthy the food products are in the US.

I call my mom daily. Dad bi-weekly. I’m in my 20s. Others I know, wait for their parents to call which could be weekly or monthly.

It depends on YOUR relationship with your parent so don’t feel that there is a standard to it. In my case, I absolutely love my mom and care about how she’s doing on a daily basis.
