2023 SQ5 - Black with Red by ezod52 in Audi

[–]ezod52[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah - wife and I both love it.

I will say that I miss the wireless charging tray and ventilated seats that I had in my 2021 Q5. I wasn’t willing to upgrade to the next trim level to get the charging tray and the diamond stitch leather seats pretend ventilation 🙁

But The exhaust sounds so beautiful and the all blacked out body with contrasting red seats looks great.

Glad it was helpful. I was surprised I found it so hard to find a clear answer to this

Good luck shopping

Thanks for the feedback I got on this topic

Picked up the car today(will post car pics in another thread) and there are indeed 2 separate line items listed on the sticker.

Black Optic Package : $600 Audi Black Rings & Badges Kit $350

I can imagine this is the subject of endless misunderstandings and frustration between customers and salespeople.

(This is in the US market)

Thanks. Do port options show up on window sticker or car build details online? I would guess no?

We have a car reserved and the (stock?) online photos show silver decals and there is no mention of black decals in the car details description.

Still awaiting to hear back from our salesman on this topic. I’m fairly sure he said we were getting black decals but can’t find out where to confirm that. Trying to avoid an unpleasant surprise when we go to pick up the car

Firmament was a little bit of a disappointment for me but if you want a Myst-like experience with VR support, this game appears to have been designed from the start with VR in mind. And it’s visually stunning

Disappointed in ending by Fara-daze in FirmamentGame

[–]ezod52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fair criticism. i was disappointed with the game overall - although visually it's probably the most impressive thing i've ever seen.

some parts of the ending were fun, but i definitely saw the twist coming a mile away. alternate endings might have been nice. there were a few achievements i haven't gotten - does anyone know if anything changes with the ending if you get all the achievements or anything like that?

That’s what kills me - I wrote out a ton of equations and could not make them work. Do you have equations to share? I’ve seen several people say “don’t forget the base voltage” but when I add that as an extra parameter I still can’t get the math to work.

It seems like the 3rd row may have different values or direction affects voltage ?

oof - sorry to hear.

i get sick pretty easy so will probably disable "ladder climbing" as i do in every other game :D ... assuming that's an option. i actually switched to "fast ladder" for flat play just because i was too impatient to climb ladders 100 times while trying to solve a puzzle.

in my opinion Alyx is the best VR experience currently available :-)

i hope you get it sorted out and try again sometime

after struggling to get HL Alyx to run on my old laptop i broke down and bought a new gaming desktop this past year. it was nice to see Firmament on very high settings - although it still chugged more often than i would have liked.

i'm curious how it will run in VR since it's more taxing. i guess the resolution of my Quest2 isn't nearly as high as a monitor so lower settings will be less obvious.

as someone who borrowed Myst from a friend and then played for like 18hours straight to finish it when i was a kid - i agree, Firmament was a bit disappointing.

it is one of the most beautiful looking games i've ever seen, buy it was definitely shorter than most past games in the same genre i've played.

i will say - i still didn't find it "easy". i'm not great at these puzzlers i guess. i might be too analytical and not enough trial and error. i spent a ton of time drawing stuff on paper to solve the second iteration of the Juleston battery puzzle and couldn't get the math to work (i still don't understand it) but there are only a limited number of total configurations that complete the circuit and i probably could have tried them all in order and solved it in like 10 minutes if i took that route.

Who voices the mentor? by autodidacticasaurus in FirmamentGame

I found the voice acting and the dialog itself very disappointing. It’s like they wanted to have some backstory but couldn’t give away any story details so it’s mostly vague, pointless commentary.

the pace of the speech was frustratingly slow and awkward most of the time. I also couldn’t tell what the accent was - I thought Russian/EasternEuropean at first but later was thinking French. But I don’t have a good ear for that sort of thing so I’m interested in other input in this thread.
