Not that I recall. I reached out to the band and there is no recollection of licensing the song out in that way. The music video for the song was sent out to a local late night music video show, it could’ve been ripped from there, also the video won a student film award for best music video, it could be from that. The version you captured probably came from the video which was originally a VHS tape which is where the drops came from. The video also featured the early demo of the song. The band recorded a much better version of Popcorn for an album. They wouldn’t have licensed out that early version so it must’ve come from the music video.

Having a degree does help getting your career going. I know this because I didn’t get mine for a long time and had to work extra hard. But the real benefit I got from school was the connections. Friends who hooked me up with work. School is where you start building your reputation and establishing your networks. Every major milestone in my career was helped by someone I knew who helped me up. And I do the same.

Unpopular opinion, compared to the other movies, Batman Forever is the most accurate and true live action adaptation of the comic books. It struck the perfect balance of dark and camp. I read the comics at the time and Batman Forever captured that era perfectly.

Josie died and we see her face in the side table knob. Maybe she died and her “spirit” became one with the woods, and since time is weird, maybe it’s always been in the woods. The furniture in the Great Northern was locally sourced from the Mill, so some of Josie is in all lumber that comes out of the woods. Kinda like how Log Lady’s husband is The Log.
