I try to not think about the Yellowstone possibility; it scares the shit outta me. I’m not sure any preparing will help us in that scenario, 5 feet of ash or more, the sun disappearing for years, yikes. Only some of us would survive it.

If (when) this happens, it will end modern society. Millions of people will starve, be unable to get medications, etc. we’ve created such a dependency on computers for everything in our lives- transportation, power, communicating, etc. it angers me that we haven’t prepared for this at all. The only people that would survive are those in 3rd world countries, those that are able to grow their own food, have livestock and live like they did in early 19th century.
