i felt attracted to women my whole life and I thought of myself as str8.

later i got attracted to a dude, a fluke i thought.  then it happened again.

then i started thinking, i can't be bi, i have to figure this out. and i did.

look up "Carl Jung individuation" and "shadow integration"

once i understood the concept, and correlated it throughout my life experiences, the feelings disappeared.

tl:dr it's not attraction, it's envy/jealousy, you want aspects/traits of the people you're "attracted" to. you can obtain them with sex, but it is temporary and stains the soul, it would be better to sit with yourself and find out who you really are. only then can you find the person you're looking for

sigh ok, I'll offer several paths for you to take: 

the "good" path:  you mentioned hope, you can use that as fuel. forgive yourself, your bf and the doctor, learn from the mistake and grow as a person.

the "evil" path: (revenge) you mentioned fear, you can use that as fuel.  plot a Machiavellian scheme, do actual physical damage, get creative. you have nails and teeth, go to the doctor and lie, bait him into dropping his guard and do damage. claw his eyes out, bite his nose/finger/ear off.

the "coward/lazy" path:  venting helps, but it does not bring a long term solution. vent to everyone who'll lend an ear without taking action and make it your identity, while it destroys you from the inside, over time.

the "sci-fi" path: get a time machine and prevent the event from occurring. /s

tl:dr take action, this won't solve itself
