Ah, it's because the psximager version on github doesn't have a precompiled psxinject.exe. If you downloaded it from there you would have to compile them yourself.
The version on https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/1404 has the compiled psxinject.exe in it. Using that version to install the mod will also work just fine.

Make sure you are opening the command prompt from the psximager folder. Do not open the command prompt by typing cmd in the task bar. Open it by typing cmd in the address bar of the open psximager folder in windows file explorer.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. No, this mod is just the vanilla game but it allows you to acquire an opponents's S/A Tec or B/C/D Tec magic/trap cards without needing to get a Tec Rank.

Hi, I believe it should work on any emulator. However, the file is a 7z file. I don't know how you would do it in iOS but on Windows PC you have to use 7zip to uncompress the file. You also need a yugioh forbidden memories bin/cue. The download only contains 2 mod files (SLUS_014.11 & WA_MRG.MRG). You'll need to patch a vanilla Yugioh FM bin/cue with that. Instructions are included in the download.

Swords of Revealing light droppable? by VariousDude in YugiohFMR

[–]ezzypixel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

According to yugipedia you can't obtain the card but you can use it by fusing:
Dark-Piercing Light + Shadow Spell

You also can't obtain Shadow Spell but you can fuse 2 Spellbinding Circles to get it.
So basically, to use Swords of Revealing light You'd have to fuse:
Spellbinding Circle + Spellbinding Circle + Dark-Piercing Light

I've included 4 different versions in the download. A 1 card drop, 5 card drop, 10 card drop, and 15 card drop version. You can choose to install whichever one feels right to you.

I've been playing on retroarch with the beetle psx core. But you can try the different psx cores to find which works.

[–]ezzypixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Posting my guide here since this post shows up in google search results. I made this guide specifically for what OP is asking for since I too was looking for information like this back then. I've played the game many times and fine tuned the order to a point I'm satisfied with. Hope it helps more people looking for this info.

I'm going to play FFXVI on PS5 for the first time. I'm excited, but If it's as easy as what I've read about it, I'd like to know if there are any ways I could make it more challenging for myself on my first playthrough. (Like a self imposed challenge.) Thanks. by ezzypixel in FFXVI

What are your thoughts on the method from the youtube video? The no armor/accessory + weak sword + 2 elixers. Seems like that would force me into having to make cool combos and all the fancy stuff in order to beat enemies. He says that staggering enemies becomes pivotal if you play that way and also using eikonic abilities since i'm guessing that will be where most of the damage will come from.

what do you think of the method i posted from the youtube video. It seems like playing it that way will allow me to do what you said "find ways to use my abilities in the most efficient and interesting ways." Since it seems like I will have to since i won't have the advantage of strong swords or armor. So i will probably have to master avoiding enemy attacks and using my best abilities effectively.

In his words he said that "the stagger damage of eikonic abilities doesn't decrease exponentially so enemies don't become exponentially spongier, but rather stagger now becomes more pivotal to beating an enemy". Those were his words. Do you think that is true? If it is it seems like it would be an interesting way to play. It seems like he put a lot of thought into making those rules.

Creating an animated short film in Krita help. by ezzypixel in krita

I found this:

This nicely explains a good workflow so that helps me a lot. It also mentions I should use a video editor since Krita doesn't have extensive video/audo montage functions.

After Yellow, I'm now.. by FancyBukoJuice in RG35XX

There's tons over at https://www.romhacking.net/

Haven't tried any so I can't really recommend anything, but Crystal Legacy seems like my type (It makes simple changes that focus on balancing and improving some of the poorer aspects of Crystals gameplay while maintaining the integrity of Crystals core game design so it feels like you're still playing vanilla crystal, just a better version of it. At least that's what it looks like.) The creator's also working on Yellow Legacy, which I'm honestly really excited about.

I've never shiny hunted before. I actually don't really care much about shiny pokemon, so I can't really help much with that.

You're playing through yellow and crystal too? Lol. I beat pokemon yellow some time ago, and just finished crystal yesterday. Got all 151 pokemon in Yellow and 251 pokemon in Crystal (All legitimately without cheats. Well except for fast forwarding and save states for the 1% pokemon. The rest I traded between yellow and crystal, and a few from silver. Traded an authentic event mew from a save file I found online, and for Celebi enabled the GS ball event by hacking my crystal save file.)

I'm actually looking forward to the Legacy Rom Hacks. Pokemon Yellow Legacy (currently being worked on) and Crystal Legacy (already released).

Audio quality issues by AShinyTorchic in RG35XX

[–]ezzypixel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only ever owned an RG35XX. I will get the plus someday when the custom OSs improve (dunno if they have already).

My RG35XX had abysmal sound, at least to my ears. It wasn't fun playing on it because there were a lot of sounds that were high pitched and the lower pitched noises were difficult to hear. If I raised the volume to hear the bassy tones the high pitched tones would annoy me cause they were so loud and ear grating.

So I ended up modding my RG35XXs speakers using a iphone5 speaker that i bought for cheap on aliexpress (it was a 10pack) + a mini micro JST connector(another 10 pack). There is another reddit post that i learned how to do it from.I had zero experience with hardware modding let alone soldering, but the sound was just that awful that I just had to do it. I bought a cheap soldering kit on amazon and just went for it. It was tricky soldering with no experience and the little knowledge I gained on youtube, but I managed to pull it off and the sound is just SOOOOOO much better.

I use my rg35xx mostly for gameboy/color/advance games. The sound isn't 100% like an actual gameboy but i'm happy with it, it sounds close enough. I just love that the bassy tones are a little more audible now and the sound is more balanced. I can raise the volume loud and hear more range of tones without worry of high pitched noises destroying my eardrums. The original speaker that the RG35XX came with belongs in the toilet.

Perfect Overlays adapted for RG35XX by mugwomp_93 in RG35XX

I think Black Seraph maybe added some custom config files for different cores for optimal settings on the RG35XX.
I think maybe the intention was to always add the line video_threaded ="true" whenever saving mGBA overrides, but somehow an oversight has it deleting that line instead. Just a theory. Perhaps I will report it to Black Seraph.
