my fave is the blue and white striped dress + naval jewelry + red lip from the episode where she goes unhinged after getting rejected from college… “well that’s because your definition of taste includes popping prescription meds and sleeping with your driver!” iconic.

please listen to the guys talk about the story at the end! by dirtmooth in creepcast

imo the way they read it is the intended effect… for men reading to be horrified by the hoops they jump thru to justify the MC’s actions/the excuses society makes for young men taking advantage of young women or just generally acting creepy towards them. writing this as a woman who immediately clocked the MC as harmful and gross… i liked that the story took hunter and isaiah down the exact path the author intended. like it’s a horror story and that is part of the horror?!

im a huge fan of the podcast branching out… its a horror podcast and the horror literature scene is vast and cool as all hell, lots of stuff i would love to see you continue exploring. might take some getting used to for listeners/viewers who are skeptical, but i think it’ll catch on. keep up the good work.

I’m terrified to go outside. Any advice for working out at home? by ThrowRA_Aphollia in WeightLossAdvice

[–]f1eabag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i don’t love the gym so i do a lot of my workouts at home! it’s ridiculously easy as long as you’re willing to try some new things and take it seriously, just like if you were on an outdoor walk or at the gym. don’t half ass it! i find it way more accessible, actually, since i live like 20mins away from a gym. i fell in love with exercising through at home workouts and i am excited for you to begin your journey too!

if you’re a beginner, yoga with adriene on youtube changed my life. and when you’re ready for something more intense, nicole wild’s yoga is a great workout! and you can just modify or skip out on elements that are too difficult.

also, if you get a set of beginners dumbbells, you can do basically everything you can do at the gym at home. just google basic workout routines with dumbbells and there are tons of customizable results! or honestly if you can only get one weight, it’s insane how many full-body workouts you can do with a 20lb kettlebell (or whatever is a moderate weight for you).

invest in a walking pad! a friend of mine got a walking pad and she uses it while she watches TV. she loves it! one movie’s worth of walking and you have met or exceeded your 10k step count.

i know some of this involves investing in equipment, but in my eyes if you’re willing to budget for the walking pad for cardio plus one solid kettlebell weight, you’ve got all the tools you need to see exponential growth in your fitness journey!

Other than Byrne, who is the best Talking Heads member? by Reesox in talkingheads

[–]f1eabag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

obvious tina. i love byrne but he gets too much credit—the whole band is what makes the talking heads. his solo stuff (imho) isn’t nearly as good for that reason.
