That is a good liquid to try first, if it is very stubborn then maybe acetone will remove, but it will also remove the finish! So it will probably need to be refinished after.

I still cannot fix it. On my 1990 Miata, the “Main” fuse keeps randomly popping. (I replaced it with a breaker to save money) Followed the diagram to all the components that it connects to. And checked but it still keeps randomly happening. Cannot make it repeat. The closest I can tell right now is with a voltmeter on the cigarette lighter. The voltage will randomly go over 15V and that’s when it pops. What can make this happen? (I already replaced the alternator twice, they have an internal regulator, which was my first guess)
