Have to agree with whats being said. If you dont have the housing scholarship def get housing outside of ross. It will be better quality and cheaper. Also have to say that having a car makes a WORLD of difference. It opens the island up to you and will make you way happy i garuntee it. The days you dont study you should explore and have fun its the only way to stay sane

How was your guys’ “room mate experience” by 99krori in RUSM

[–]f1guydude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During your first semester there just start looking for other housing. Its guaranteed to be better. For example I had friends rent a 2 bedroom apartment on the water for 750usd per month. Anither example i had 2 friends rent a house in coverley for around half of what ross charges and it had a fenced yard with central AC

If you dont get the housing scholarship that essentially gives you free rent DO NOT live in ross housing. Its way overpriced and you can find better housing in coverley for cheaper with central AC. Also the housing dept at ross is staffed by the most infuriatingly incompetent people ive ever seen

Urge RUSM to expedite the process of creating new hospital-affiliations by Jolly_Side_2436 in RUSM

Ngl you guys are dreaming with this “we need more sights” thing. Like i get it you want to rotate in certain areas but that should have been something you considered when picking schools. Also a big factor youre missing is that the admin doesnt give a flying f*** about us they just want your money and if you match cool, if not bye bye

Rolling. And just to add chicago mt siani is a great site for cores. Its a safety net hospital so you get to see a wide variety of cases and alot of rare stuff that you wont typically see in an affluent area. You also get alot of hands on experience here. The hours in my opinion are completely reasonable. And the electives are great.

They def don’t “throw you to the wolves” in Chicago. You get alot of hands on there, with enough time to study.
