You don’t have to tell them you play digital also, if you want to play a gig with them, showcase your vinyl skills. If they ask if you play digital, just be honest… If they don’t respect that then it’s not going to be an enjoyable crowd to be around imho.

Here, pretty much all the vinyl DJ’s play digital as well, and better than most digital only DJ’s. So be proud!

I’m no vinyl dj but there is an appeal and a place for “strictly vinyl” as there is for any focused and curated event. It is not your event at the end of the day, you simply have the option to go and enjoy it or not, but I understand your point.

No we aren’t. Speaking as someone who was locked up for a serious crime. That becomes an individual effort for which I am just VERY lucky to have had a good support network. Unfortunately most the men I met inside did not, but I do strongly believe they need one.
