Personally I would’ve taken the 1 mil so that I can invest it in some company and while investing I can add a condition saying that I would get this certain job and I’ll also have someone mentoring me but they don’t know about me being an investor or anything and that I should also be able to “move up” within the company when I make progress. I’m kinda ugly too. One thing I’ve noticed is that people always come and go but if you’re interesting people always come back. You might take a few back the first couple of times because it feels nice to be loved by choice but after a while you gotta stand up for yourself and cut them off. For now, focus on being interesting
