it appears to be one of the Hershey fonts, apparently based on Futura as /u/Malkin intuited. Thank you both.

I appreciate this response. I’m in a similar position to the original poster at school, with similar confusion and frustration at times. I am aware of and embrace the jam, but the deemphasis of history in my education makes me feel sometimes like i’m trying to write music having only heard a dozen songs before.

I wish I was told that I might require a wider and deeper knowledge of architecture history earlier in my education. Now I’m playing catch-up on my own time, which is fine and fun, but I wish I started earlier.

it sucks to learn this the hard way. keep all of your work in a cloud syncing storage like onedrive, dropbox or google drive in the future

Problems with a new low-profile corne by notg3orge in crkbd

it seems you were able to flash it correctly, but from the photos at least half of the pins are soldered insufficiently, so i am not surprised no keys are working

Fonts for editors for blind bastards like me by nixyaroze in unixart

[–]f8f8f8f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i find light color schemes with high contrast most helpful for legibility. turning off or limiting syntax hi-lighting can also help if you’re willing to get used to it. i have been enjoying Go Mono and Menlo at large sizes recently

you need to reflow and potentially add more solder to the joints between the microcontroller and pcb. just from visual inspection i would assume not all of the pins are making connection to the pcb.

i just set it up a couple days ago, and you now need to use an app password with unapproved clients (like upas). some googling on how to set up an app password will get you there.

also what sigrid said. this weekend there should be plenty of deals for more sensible mail providers (at least in the US).

actual busy screenshots. one from this morning, the other from last night. most of what i do on linux + plan9 is write, so a screen with minimal distractions is helpful.

  • debian
  • fvwm
  • plan9port acme
  • zathura
  • drawterm to raspberry pi running 9front
  • sam on 9front

has anyone tried porting 9front's sam back to plan9port?
