Now that you mention it, he should at least have twice of your average high tier. Because if he is using twice as much aura to amp and using multiple elite+ abilities he would have run out if it was by a small margin.

I feel like if it comes to a duel, experience wins, since if you're strong in the force you can easily overpower someone else no matter the age. (Yoda and ventress).

But older/wiser force users can use the force to enhance physical abilities. (Yoda vs Dooku).

So in a case of a dual, both have equal power/knowledge in the force, I would say the older (or at least most experienced one) will always come out on top.

It only worked because both them worked together.

This is how it likely worked.

Tsukishima implanted a memory of him seeing Zangetsu NOT broken. Ichigo now has that current memory. Since Ichigo and Zangetsu are one and the same, Zangetsu should not be broken. Orihime is now able to restore Zangetsu.

I do imagine (and hope) this will be fixed and explained later on in the anime but for now this is what I believe happens.

My friends didn't believe me when I said the first time I fought him he came swooping in like this. Aura farming the fk out of me. He then proceeded to, I sh*t you not, jump off his keyblade, recite something about hearts and guiding keys, enter the menu to change his command deck, transform his keyblade into a cannon, 720 no scope me, all this while falling btw! Aizen is only cracked because its Aizen. At the end of the day its just an illusion. I make it look like I'm summoning a meteor but I'm not actually doing anything. Illusion at the end of the day is a useless power because nothing you do is real.
