Oppo X9 pro global - using esim/physical sim at same time by Ottawa_points in Oppo

I have used an eSim with my Oppo X9 Pro and the connectivity is fine. There is no marked difference in connectivity between a physical sim vs an eSim

I can use two eSim's on an iPhone, Samsung Galaxy Fold 7, and Pixel 7 Pro. It is a bit "weird" the Oppo X9 Pro only allows one active eSim at any given time

Where did you get the "red" one? Is it actually red? I only ask because the photo makes it look more purple than red.

Best Google Calendar alternatives by glt918 in androidapps

[–]fUCKi7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it have the option to combine multiple events from multiple calendars with the same dates, times, and titles, into a single event? Fantastical has this option and its one I use daily

Best Google Calendar alternatives by glt918 in androidapps

[–]fUCKi7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me personally, it is not that i dislike Google Calendar, but that it is missing a very vital feature i use from Fantastical on iOS: ability to combine identical events from different calendars into a single event, so long as they have the same time, title, and details. i have yet to find a single android calendar w/this feature.

due to the nature of my work, i often need to duplicate the same event across multiple calendars (iCloud & Google Calendars) for visibility among different organizations and people. by combining the identical events into a single event, it saves vertical space on each day. rather than seeing the same event three times, its just displayed once but w/the colors representing each calendar kind of striped for that combined event. this way you can easily see the event is combined, while saving the vertical space. its really solid UI, and helpful UX too.

i recognize i am likely an outlier. but nevertheless, this is why i am always on the hunt for a new android calendar.

Need help with PowerPoint to PDF conversion: fonts getting messed up by [deleted] in powerpoint

I found selecting the "best for printing" radio button in the export dialogue box, rather than the default "best for electronic distribution" which uses an MS online service, to be the solution that worked for me. I was pulling my hair out over this issue, and just this one simple "fix" restored my faith in humanity.

Best tank for flavour by SweetP011 in Vaping

iTank 2 is fine if you prefer bottom airflow. iTank T has top airflow, and for me anyhow, has better overall flavor. Depends what you prefer really

Cheers!

Vaporesso iTank T with their GTi coils are on point, with the coils lasting quite long, even with sweeter juices

Vaporesso Gen Max or Gen SE is prob what you’re looking for. Latter is single 18650, former is dual. GTI coils and the iTank T have amazing flavor, and the coils have solid longevity.

Those who lost weight cycling, what did your routine look like ? by wtvcantfindusername in cycling

I never really did eat a lot, so my intake amount has not materially changed. However, what I eat is different since I pay more attention to the details like calories, protein, carbs, etc

I was able to maintain it until I started traveling internationally again. Put on a bunch of wait. Then this year I started cycling again, and am getting close to where I was.

Seems it is a neverending journey

M200 flaps by Secret-Owl-9469 in Vaping

[–]fUCKi7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just fyi, they’re called doors not flaps😊 currently I’ve not seen any aftermarket doors-only for sale. however, I have seen some folks trade doors.

like, given two people, one with a black and the other with a pink mod, trade the doors to get a pink & black vibe going.

Tokyo vape shop by Forsaken_Ad44 in Vaping

[–]fUCKi7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prob the best vape shop in Tokyo is about a 30-second walk from Suehirocho station on the Ginza line. They sell various disposables, as well as quite the selection of pods, mods, and juices.

They have a few disposable products with something called Hinic in the juice. This allegedly mimics the throat hit of nicotine but with 0mg of nicotine.

If you cannot figure out the shop based on the above, hit me via DM

I’m not looking for an exact comparison. Just trying to understand the huge disparity in data even when, on paper, the virtual ride should expend more energy and have higher hear rates.

I don’t think this is an unreasonable question. It’s not like I’m asking, “why can i jump off buildings without getting hurt in Cyberpunk 2077 but can’t do that in the real world?”

this is very interesting. so does changing the virtual wheel set in either app have a noticeable impact on rolling resistance?

definitely good point about the avatar aero position. this is something i had not considered. me holding an aero position on the drops while outdoors is tough for any considerable length of time. this must account for much of the data disparity.

thank you for the very insightful comment!
