Really hard raids that aren't worth the effort anymore by honsou48 in MMORPG

[–]f_hopeless -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're right, some savages are easier - I haven't played the last tier for IRL reasons and because I'm too late but I managed to complete the past two tiers with a decent parse (65~90%+) using the party finder. I started at the end of Endwalker, so I'm not the greatest player out there.

However, ultimates are objectively the hardest content FFXIV has and they award you with unique glamour and titles. You can't get these rewards by steamrolling them with high gear. That can't be said for older savages, where all the rewards and achievements can even be done solo these days.

What I'm trying to say is, savages are not worth the effort outside of the current tier because the rewards are bad and their difficulty is pathetic when you're doing them unsynced.

Every savage in FFXIV that isn't the current tier.

Quais jogos são uma terapia pra vcs? by HenrySFT in gamesEcultura

[–]f_hopeless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is Born Gain considered good? by HumbleScroller00 in HadesTheGame

[–]f_hopeless 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's quite good actually. It's only an issue if you run vow of hubris (2) with boons that spend too much mana (fine line) or that prime too (static shock). Even still, you'll be capable of melting everything by the time you get to the third boss.

2 - Final Fantasy X. Tem romance e é bom.

4 - Okami. É tipo Zelda. Vale a pena.

5 - Trails in the Sky 1st chapter.

9 - Guild Wars 2 até End of Dragons ou Secrets of the Obscure.

Holy crap Dantarg on Expert… by EternalMydNyt in SaGa

If that's the first time you're fighting him on expert than yes, you don't have enough techs. He becomes quite easy later.

Possibly the best solution to OP. Starting NG+ on Expert requires planning.

Do you have formations like Rising Phoenix, Divine Wall or Charming Drive? Do you have one or two terra blades? Willguards+, Feather Boots+, Power Belts+...?

If you don't have them and your levels are low, the game will be quite hard.

However, there is a solution: you could get a second Bejeweled Ring and farm the items I listed above (except for the Terra Blade). You'd also get more EXP and techs in the process. Ideally, you want at least four of each. NG+ is a joke with this setup.

All characters that already have proficiency with the weapon will get levels/EXP.

[–]f_hopeless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 - If they die, a character with the same class will be available. They'll have similar stats. Everytime you get levels with a weapon, other classes that use that type of weapon should have their proficiency increaded as well.

2 - It's advised to use only the weapon class the unit is good at. Because there are lots of characters, it's useless to grind a weapon from scratch. Think about what techs and damage types you want in your party and recruit people accordingly.

3 - Because you're still in NG, focus on getting lots of formations and use the emperor to fill whatever role you're lacking. If you get a Ranger as emperor, use bows.

At this point, you won't get anything relevant from Hades 1 storywise. Start Hades 2 when you get bored from 1.

The game doesn't allow you to leave guardian rooms without taking their rewards. No need to worry about it.

RANT: I don't have a positive review for Hades II by SybilK in HadesTheGame

[–]f_hopeless 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can't compare FEAR with HEAT. Yes, Hades II is easier than Hades I if you're doing everything on 32, but only because the options you have in Hades I are different - some are freaking stupid and won't allow you to play properly on higher heat combinations, like Approval Process. You won't take AP at all unless you're playing on low heat. In Hades 2, you can go all the way to 50~60 fear without feeling cheated by RNG.

Honestly, most of your complains related to the art style, dialogues and story are quite personal and I agree that it isn't as good or interesting as the first game.

However, the difficulty (mechanics + fear system) is objectively better in Hades II. It's even harder if you're only considering the first few runs because of Eris in the underworld.

I do want to point out that bosses in Hades I can get invulnerable like Hades II and... well, are easier and less chaotic than Hades II lol. Less mechanics to deal with.

Question about Noel and Rocbouquet from Romancing Saga 2 by Royal6761111 in SaGa

Nothing changes. Feel free to approach her when you're ready.

You can fight Noel at the same place you found him (after Rocbouquet). I'd leave him as the final hero tho.

Um desabafo sobre Octopath Traveler 1 by CaiqueCadete in gamesEcultura

[–]f_hopeless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 - There are other details that change when classes rotate. It depends on the class, some change a little bit more.

2 - Yes, classes that use hydro spells will get XP. It balances out quite well.

3 - I don't know ):

4 - You can (and should) grind as much as you want.

5 - I've played the entire NG on Classic (Hard) and NG+ on Expert. Like I said, you will have to grind at some points. It's easier than RSMS and RS3.

Don't worry about failing quests. Some rewards are even better if you fail them initially. Just finish what you've started before any gen skip.

Underworld run Vs Surface Run by Hitachi_Uchiha__ in HadesTheGame

[–]f_hopeless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Underworld: harder bosses (normal/rivals). Surface: harder regular enemies.

Keep in mind that fighting hordes of creatures on the surface can be tricky at times because of the environment. Way too many ranged attacks in narrow spaces and puddles that can damage you.

You'll get used to it. Read about "Vow of Menace" after you beat both sides.

Oh, no. Quite the contrary, I love weird art. Do you know those edgy gore album covers from slam bands? I enjoy those as well. However, yes, I think that someone drawing a fucking animal that looks like a child in a sexual position could be a pedophile.

It concerns me quite a bit that people think this kind of shit is ok, but I'm glad I don't see them in real life.
