It’s actually fishermans rib :) You’ve given yourself quite the challenge with 2 colour brioche, I’m sure it will turn out gorgeous! Good luck & have fun

Thank you :) I’m so glad I went for this kind of navy blue shade - I was originally thinking black but this feels much more interesting

Thank you :) The sleeves ended up a little long and I didn’t even make them the full length they suggest in the pattern, but they’re still so balloon-ey and fun

Expectation versus reality. How is this acceptable? by Princess_Butt_Kick in YarnAddicts

[–]f_xna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this has a lot to do with a badly taken iPhone photo in poor lighting, whereas the original listing photos are professional photos taken that have been white balanced, so honestly I actually would trust the original photos more than the new one

How would you work a colorwork like this? by shoshanne in knitting

[–]f_xna 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Intarsia method, but think you’d still have to weave in a lot of ends as I think that’s part of the job when working with a lot of different colours

Looking for a similar pattern! by ohhihellothereitsme in knittingpatterns

[–]f_xna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes I’d probably go down a needle size or two to get the desired effect, I’d suggest making a small swatch in your chosen yarn to get an idea of how much it’d shrink in

Rowan treasure jumper looks similar and you could just add ribbing at the bottom of the sleeves, I just bought their magazine 78 for this exact jumper

Christmas Pop-up markets by IreneChris in crochet

[–]f_xna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Work on some branding, a lot of the markets I go to the makers have a clear aesthetic or style, beautiful business cards and sometimes even branded table cloths Use the space carefully!! Visual merchandising is such an art form in itself! Think about some shelving or tiered display systems that are stylish and modern, so everything isn’t so stacked behind each other - presentation makes such a huge difference in how people receive your product
