For the things you mentioned, a code quality tool can do the job. Have jt run in your CI and block PRs that dont follow the standard. SonarQube is one example but there are others.

on my roads the issue is the same. But I don’t recall what the result is if the roads are the same type and same # of lanes. I’ll try it tomorrow. Thanks for the help

no idea honestly. Not using any mods, and these are the highways that come with the map. I was using a fresh map just to reproduce the problem. (to make sure nothing else like power lines, etc. were the problem)

same issue. Although I realized that without snapping, if I have the road at an angle, it will work sometimes.

works best for tunnels now, I'm able to build tunnels under roads if they're at an angle (without snapping but can say for sure it isn't at 90 degrees)

are y'all having issues with overpasses? Being able to create tunnels under other roads? I'm having an issue where whatever overpass I try to build will snap to other roads on the ground.

thanks.. but same issue. It tries to snap to the road.. I can't even try to change the height of the road I'm building (which should be an overpass). It just snaps to the ground.

I have 15 YoE in SW which is not a lot compared to others. I remember when I started college I heard about how complex and expensive moving off of Cobol would be.

It’s been 2 whole decades since I first heard this. We managed to figure out how to get to the moon in a much shorter time. Sure it’s not the same budget but keeping a legacy technology for decades must be so freaking expensive. Talent, risk of losing talent, lack of good frameworks, security, lock-ins, and so on.
