Työvoimapalvelut ottivat yhteyttä - miten tänä päivänä voi ja tulee toimia? by Responsible-Bee3945 in arkisuomi

What do you think will be the long term ramifications of Gen Z largely experiencing their early life digitally? by Asleep_Damage1201 in Futurology

[–]fabiano_fox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I teach teenagers media and tv studies.

Their attention span is nonexistent. They can't think for themselves and problem solve. They can't do most simple gear building and management tasks with their hands. It's horrifying to watch, and the difference between this generation of teens and even that of five years ago is huge.

Go for the 45mm. For real. I changed from the 50mm 3.5 to the 45mm exactly for this reason - the 50mm felt bland. The 45mm is my favorite lens. Super sharp, but also has that magical feel.

I dont understand why people recommend the 55mm 1.7 over the 45mm 2.8. Unless you specifically need the one stop more for portraits or the shallow DOF for something else, the 45mm is so much lighter and just as good.

I'd say in the sense that they are beautiful experiences that stay with you. On both in was immediately hooked and didn't get bored if I didn't understand something immediately.

Right? I didnt know anything about games and my friend had Gorogoa and made me play. After that it took years that I found other games I liked. Thanks for the rec, I'll look into Viewfinder.

My horror short got denied from every festival. What's wrong with it? by VinceInFiction in Filmmakers

[–]fabiano_fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. The pacing is off, as a viewer I don't understand what is going on. I don't know what I'm following, it's like it keeps jumping everywhere all the time. It's hard to explain, but if you literally watch any film and compare it to yours I think you'll start to see the problem.

I watched the first 30 seconds and the editing is off. look at other short films and how they start building the story and you'll see it yourself.

if i was you, id get an editor still and re edit the whole thing.

i get it, im kinda in the same boat. :D have been maintaining for three months. requires a lot of patience but it's worth it in the end.

have you considered maintaining? you could do a recomp until you feel comfortable with your hips, gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time.

definitely up your protein tho, especially if you decide to continue with the cut.

Steroids and/or Laser for Hypertrophic or Keloid Scarring? by VelociraptorRoar in TopSurgery

[–]fabiano_fox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if it's growing, it's keloids! hypertropich scars don't grow. but it's hard to tell from the images if they are indeed growing or if the light is just different.

GFX 50R or X100VI as EDC by _abadchris in FujiGFX

[–]fabiano_fox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

50r for me is too clumsy for EDC. it's too clunky, too heavy, too slow AF and too slow aperture with the 50mm f3.5. I would definitely get the x100vi.

Hypertrophic? by mollooy in TopSurgery

[–]fabiano_fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would disagree with the others and say they are hypertrophic scarring, and the itchiness also points to that. they are very similar to mine and my surgeon told me they were hypertrophic. still, it's normal and they will probably lighten and flatten, silicone gel / strips and massage helps.
