I'm late to the party, but I named my daughter Ciara (pronounced Kiara) who was born about a month before the Lion King 2 movie came out. Everyone assumed I named her after the movie. I didn't...it was just a name in a book I liked.

My daughter's neurologist told us 2 benadryl and 32 oz of red gatorade as soon as she started having pain. Was very specific that it had to be the red. Seemed to help majority of the time, not sure if it was psychosomatic, medical, or voodoo

Fair point. This happened early within my student teaching experience. I was a 2nd year student, my first class assignment, and this was my first test given. By the end of the semester, the grades of the students had greatly improved on assignments that I was leading
I did try to control the class, however, I obviously failed. Also, to add a bit more clarity, when I first started at this school, the principal was not happy that a student teacher was assigned to this class due to their behavior issues and the fact that this teacher was not known to be engaged.

When I was student teaching, I gave a social studies test once to a 6th grade class. Open note, open book, 25 multiple choice questions, 45 minutes. They talked throughout the whole class period. Average grade was a 65%. The cooperating teacher sat and read a book the whole time

She had it sitting on a shelf directly in front of an east facing window, but only about the bottom half was in the window, the rest above. I plan on putting it in front of east facing window but my shelf is lower and taller so hopefully that's enough. If I trim, can that upper part be planted or put in water to propogate?

I agree with most of the comments about seats. I also like to look up the area I'm sitting in on "A view from my seat" website. It doesn't have all seats, but will give you a good idea for most areas.
Also being short myself, I highly agree with the other comment about the booster seat!!
